Goodnature

Goodnature

We didn't get into the rodent killing business to kill things. We got into it to help biodiversity thrive.

Rodents are bad news for people and the planet, destroying crops and wildlife, spreading disease and devastating ecosystems. Every solution out there was archaic, inhumane or incredibly toxic. Our founders Robbie and Craig knew if we were going to have a crack at rewilding the world, we were going to have to find a better way to kill rodents. They brainstormed 100 ways to kill a rat, and the Goodnature trap was born.

    How does the "smart" aspect of the trap improve the trap's ability to attract and kill? I'm not quite sure i understand the advantage over a conventional sping loaded trap.

    I know how you would get your business more popular. I don’t know why I’m telling you this but if you team up with greenix. They would probably buy them. then charge people for replacing the CO2 canister, because people don’t like to get their hands dirty!

    Except for the fact that she didn't wear gloves. The trap is going to reek like a human, and rats may avoid it.

    Your package should say what kind of paste is in the traps to begin with so we can more easily buy that prefeed.

    Love it , I got the A18 to kill gray squirrels. The 😂 number on the unit basically tells you how many shots you get from each CO2 cartridge. The A18 is more powerful but you only get 18 shots where this one has 24 shots because rats do not need that hard of a punch to kill them like squirrels. In my opinion, there all rats…

    Remove access. Remove any branches of trees / bushes to at least 1.5 meters away from the house (rats can jump 1 meter). Guard your gutters as well (don't forget to clean them yearly)

  • @WobblesandBean
    @WobblesandBean Жыл бұрын

    Hi, zoologist here. Friendly reminder that you CANNOT relocate rats. They live their entire lives in one area, so relocating them only guarantees a painful death of starvation or predation. These are vicious things that eat baby animals (and even humans!) alive, starting with the eyes. They carry over 30 zoonotic diseases, including several deadly pathogens . *Do not pity them.* Your only option is to dispatch them quickly and cleanly.

  • @goodnature_traps

    Agreed! And we second your 'quickly and cleanly' sentiment. This is why our kill traps are certified to A Class humane standards by NAWAC.
