This is my first year (2023) racing RC cars and I decided to post for my friends, family, and fellow RC racers, but now I want to share with all of you! I just hit 100 subscribers Jul15 and getting closer to the 500 sub goal, followed by a 1,000 sub goal. Let's see how long it takes to hit 200. There will be some RC car bashing, jumping, racing, drifting, RC plane flying, how-to videos, product reviews, and possibly some fishing coming soon. This channel will start off as an archive for the hobbies I have filmed and eventually into a themed channel with weekly uploads. Please Subscribe, and share with everyone you know.
If you feel inclined to donate, cashapp is best for me but I also have venmo. Thank you all for the support of my niche channel!

Watching the chaos of the pace lap didn't look like they knew what they were doing, but once the race started they got the hang of it and ran pretty clean. fun to watch.
I agree. Honestly it is harder to pace than it is to go full speed. D-Main and C-Main will have a lot of chaos. It begins smoothing out as you get into the faster drivers in B-Main and A-Main.
Thanks for watching!
What's the common spur and pinion of that track!
Brushed: 83t Spur 24t Pinion Brushless: 83t Spur 26t Pinion
I love it! Nice track!
Thank you for taking video!
You're welcome! Every thanks I get makes it all worth it. Thank you for showing your appreciation.
Thank you for the video🎉.
You're welcome! My pleasure.
Nice video.
Thanks!
Awsome videos. I like the 2 zoomed in views of going into 1 and coming off the west end. Awsome video addition.
Thanks. Glad you like it. My videos will keep this format from now on, getting some minor tweaks as time goes on.
Congrats on the bump.
Thanks. Another day of bumping to the A from the D. Hopefully I can keep my car from breaking from now on so I can complete the Heat Races.
I really thing if colby could had stayed out of trouble he would had found his self sitting in the amain. But with a bad heat race and not so go bmain we eneddd up 23rd out 47 cars. Well get em next time.
One of the hardest things in racing is letting off the throttle to stay safe in dangerous situations. It has saved me many times but takes discipline. It's also easier said than done.
My son colby was runnning down that 64 during practice all day long and at one point our car was faster than that 64 car.
Keep it up. Colby is pretty fast and consistent. Personally I think the hardest part for kids is being cautious and letting out of the throttle to avoid accidents. I mean, who wants to slow down in a race? Nobody. Hehe
@@MoeSpeedRC ya no shit. hence why we dont have cautions
Nice video man. Keep them coming.
Will do. It was a busy weekend for me and my editing knowledge was rusty. More to come!
Where is this track?
Pasco, WA. This is a 1/4 scale track we raced 1/10 on and there is a clay outdoor offroad track for up to 1/8 scale buggy.
They said that cars ch*t
This is not the most highly regarded race car but at $200 RTR and only a body and LCG chassis to upgrade, it's a very affordable class to race. We had over 50-60 people enter the series through the year.
That’s honestly really cool
Thank you! :) I'll be making more drifting, racing, and crashing content for the channel.
No problem.
What battery you are using
2s Lipo battery. In the silver car, a Lectron full length 5200 mah battery. Blue car has a Gens Ace Redline shorty pack, racing battery. The Lectron lasts nearly a full hour. A little more with short breaks to talk.
@@MoeSpeedRC thanks. I just got my rmx 2.5 brushlss rtr and I having hard time if i will go shorty or not. Now i have idea what to use
Lookin Good!
Thank you. First day racing an eBuggy, so I will only improve from here.
I like the pig pong ball! Whipping it like DK!
The ball is definitely the main attraction for us so far, and in the most difficult corner. We have improved a lot since this, so more drift content will be coming.
"promosm" 😀
Weeeee! Fun times.
Brutal … hope everyone’s ok
Well, this is Radio Controlled racing. The drivers are physically unharmed, but I didn't ask about their bruised ego's. Hehe..
Immagine if that shit hit hes ankle 😭😭
Yeah, I was worried about it. There's another clip I have where someone isn't so lucky and goes down. Full races are on my channel. It's my first year and I'm holding 2nd in season points so far.
@@MoeSpeedRC good job man for being second in ur first year
Thank you. I'm trying my best and more importantly, having a lot of fun doing it.
Wish the camera would’ve stayed with the leader. It’s why we watch.
Sorry about that. I record myself but I am expanding my camera setup. Buying a 2nd camera this weekend for another angle that should cover the whole track.
@@MoeSpeedRC I’ll still be here to watch regardless. Just subbed as well.
New sub here! Great looking track! I sure miss the old days club racing at WCRC, I need one of these in my back yard!
Me too! I'm literally ripping out my backyard if I buy the rental house I'm living in right now. It would be a small track but still something to play on
For a minute I thought these were real cars 😂
😂 Haha That would be insane! Thanks for your comment. I didn't think of that.
I need to bring out my buggy!!
Bring it! Lets do this!
Nice run Matt! No marshals needed 😎 need some more horsepower for that double double!
Thanks Dylan. Maybe up the motor from this 17.5t to a 13.5t or give it just a little more timing. It does it well if I set it up perfect but a little more power would be better.
Nice race and some good saves!!
Thank you brother!
ⓁⓄⓋⒺ ❤ X million
Ah thank you!! This is my first year trying this and I'm holding 2nd in total season points. Come watch the full races on my channel. I'll be working on improving my editing as I go as well. Still new to that. Subscribe if you would like to support me and watch more.
Really? You want to swap out your Ender 3 for one of these? Gee, who would have guessed that. 🤷 Like someone saying they would swap out their Honda Civic for a Ferrari.
Well not while I'm on a budget and yes, I caught your sarcasm. I have too many other hobbies to spend money on. My ender 3 already has a direct drive extruder I need to install and an enclosure so it will be just as capable at a slower speed. That speed though is tempting.
I'm in the Blue 33 car. Had to make a quick reaction or I would have smashed the stopped car.
Traction roll is a thing
You know it! Traction roll. Wheelie. Traction roll. These guys just like being on 2 wheels. Get a bike, why don't ya!
Just wish it wasn't me... but I saved it
Bah! Lol. Didn't realize it was your car. Hehehe It happens to us all. It actually happened to me on the same day or same race when I was avoiding an accident on the back straight.
Do you feel it’s more reliable
My co-worker just picked this up. Not sure on reliability but the benchy printing this fast turned out well after he held the printer down. It shakes too much. Needs anchored or print a little slower.
Thank you Matt for doing this!!
You're welcome. I'm happy to help all the racers study their races, share them with friends and family, or for anyone else that may find and enjoy it.
I'll have the B and A-main up tomorrow. They will be good ones.
SO expensive RC cars!
This one is more affordable than most. $200 car. $65 body. $50 for 4 wheels/tires (optional). Then just a battery or 2 for the car. It is a lot more affordable than starting with a $1,000 car. :)
I remember an miss the days being out with dad at the RC tracks
I just started this year but wish it was something I had done years ago. Glad you had that time to share with your dad and some of the memories from it.
Hey what chassis is this? I'm considering building one for myself. Also where did you get the body for it. I would love to know. Thanks!
These are the Traxxas Slash 2wd chassis with a body from Odd Bodies. I bought the Camero. They have a Mustang, and a new Toyota body. Most of us also use the McAllister front bumper to reposition body posts more forward to protect the body in crashes.
I also have recordings of our races on my channel. This is my first year racing and I managed to take home a win already. Super happy with that.
@4Empyre I thought it was a slash! And I have the exact same chassis too! The 2wd slash. Thank you!
Sweet flip!!
Flips for days! Thx
I foresee a high speed series of cartwheels right into the water
Hehe. If that happens, I had better catch it on camera. The time I was most worried was when my friend let a 4 year old drive his truck. It was full gas. No brakes or steering. Like a pinball bouncing and flipping over. I kept looking at the water... Lol
@@MoeSpeedRC i have an older eb4 buggy with a nitro thunder tiger motor(if that gives a clue on the age of that beast!). I didn't think about what would happen if i reused the rusty battery holder for the reciever. I put batteries in servos moved so i thought im in business. I never had a nitro before but i am a mechanic so i was able to diagnose gunky carb and the pressure port in the muffler that charges the fuel tank was also gunked up. This resulted in over an hour of tug,tug,tug,tug,........ pull glo plug and spit out flooded fuel, test plug good and tug, tug, tug, spit, cough, spit, spit stall. Im sure you know the drill. I got overly excited when it fired up and stayed running on the bench and in my haste to run it on the street i did not properly examine the battery holder. It was badly corroded but worked so im just gonna test it.... i thought. First run out beautiful! I came back toward the house "man this thing is fast!" I thought. Turned around and gunned it, wich first bump dislodged the battery box losing power in wide open throttle. I watched in horror as this phsycotic little buzz buggy took off on its own. I lived in a rural area at the time and it took off after hitting the ditch sailing over the other side and it was gone! I heard it bouncing off of trees or whatnot but luckily it only had just a bit of fuel in it. It was alost out when it flipped and luckily stalled before the lean scream of death could claim it. It survived, much to my surprise! A broken control arm and tie rod, and i was not risking another flight like that i bought a new radio set that has signal loss protocol where it drops to idle and waits to restore signal. Wasnt gonna see that happen again!
Holy cow. I've always worried about runaways but I haven't owned any nitro at this point yet. Good call on setting up idle fail-safe after that. I'm about to get my first Tekno's. A MT410 and a EB410 (w 410.2 rear end) and they appear to be one of the most indestructible chassis out there. I'm glad you had something durable to go through all of that chaos.
@@MoeSpeedRC getting a nitro powered rc is almost a mute point with brushless motors and the batteries that can push them. I mean they are bragging 100 mph out of the box. Even the cheaper ones will test the skill of even the best rc drivers. But there is no substitute for the nitro burning motors that demand a good ear and much practice. Once you gain the experience, and routine becomes part of the hobby. Just knowing that you brought life to the honey badger of rc vehicles by knowing when the mix is too rich and a twist, or a tweak gives you the power to give that 800 dollar electric a run for its money! Not to mention the knowledge you gain running nitro engines directly translates to 2 stroke engines giving you insight most people dont have. Of the many things learned working and running nitro motors, the most important is patience. Not blowing yourstack with every gliche, but observing the problem and recognizing not what you are doing but why. It is a great skill to have.
Sweet
Thanks. I just uploaded the A-Main event which is where the winner is determined and I got my first win ever! I'm hooked.
Nice race brother!!
Fun times out here. I'm enjoying it more than expected.
