  Hi,Yes, another person is required to assist with strapping and use of the wheelchair. A person cannot use it by himself.

  Dangerous. Not crash tested. If a person was to slide down, they would choke on the belt. If the wheelchair was to tip, the person will end up on the ground with the wheelchair on top of them.
