    Thank you for your magnificent videos, so exhaustive, so precise, so professional, so contrasted. thanks to your valuable information. I have improved my daily beauty routine. Thanks again for your work. I would like to know if you could make a video in relation to beauty therapies at home similar to those in beauty centers with devices that they use in Korea such as Skin booster such as medicube, I would like to know if they are really effective and if it is worth investing money in some one .Thanks

    Never thought I’d be so into skincare until I found your videos. You’re exceptional! -I believe on your website you say this has a fairly short shelf life, I haven’t used retinol before, I know to start slow but do you recommend the same with the isa Knox? Is this worth purchasing if the shelf life is short but I don’t want to use it every day as a new retinol user? Thanks so much.

    1:30 A South Korean firm might have the been the first to stablilise retinol, but American doctor Albert Kligman was the inventor of Tretinoin aka Retin-A, the granddaddy of all retinoids. Without which, retinol wouldn't even exist! So stop misleading your audience, you're full of it. Btw, we can all see you're not a real Korean, just an uppity foreigner putting on a fake accent.

I wanted to ask you if men can also use the History of Whoo Bichup Line, as well as Chogongjin Sosaeng Jin Boosting Essence and Cream. In Case the products are not suitable for men skin, is it possible that you can give your Feedback for the Gongjinhyang Nourishing Emulsion For Men, and the The history of whoo Cheongidan Kun Hwa Yang Line ? It would be highly appreciated ! Thank you alot !

  • @OdileMonodTheMonodist
    @OdileMonodTheMonodistАй бұрын

    Thank you! In general there's no real functional distinction between men skincare lines and other lines mainly marketed to women. Brands create skincare lines specifically for men because of different consumer preferences between men and women (men on average tend to use fewer products, they are not usually on keen on floral fragrances, they shave more frequently which leads to a demand for soothing skincare products and generally products that work well with facial hair etc. etc). On average men tend to have oiler skin than women because they naturally have more oil glands, so most men skincare lines are geared towards oily and combination skin, but that doesn’t mean that regular skincare likes for oily and combination skin wouldn't work on men even if the products are not specifically marketed to them. Men skincare lines are mainly a matter of product positioning. If you're a man with dry skin, you might enjoy skincare products marketed to women more! That being said, Whoo's Gongjinhyang Gun is one of my husband's favorite skincare lines. It's a soothing and purifying skincare line geared towards combination and oily skin, the Cheongidan Kun is described as more nourishing by the brand but I've never had the chance to try the products in person. I would say go for the Bichup and Sosaeng Jin lines if you have normal to dry skin, if you have combination or oily skin it's worth looking into Whoo's men skincare lines.

    I used serums all the time, but recently I noticed that almost all the serums I used were too heavy for my oily skin. I found out about essence-toners and I tried the one from Pyunkang Yul, which I love so far, but was afraid that it won't be as beneficial as a serum. I've read that products from this brand are high quality and use good ingredients, but I'm still kinda afraid to just use this instead of a serum, considering I just turned 30. Any advice?

    What is the source of the collagen used? Is it from animal, chemical or plant based?

  • @OdileMonodTheMonodist
    @OdileMonodTheMonodist2 ай бұрын

    As mentioned in the video it's a biodesigned collagen (meaning it's made in a lab), so it’s chemical. That doesn't rule out the possibility that other ingredients in the formula might be animal-derived, if that is a concern. The products are not explicitly marketed as vegan so I wouldn't recommend assuming they are.

    J Beauty has been overall an underwhelming experience for me. It can’t touch K Beauty….ESPECIALLY since discovering History of Whoo last week at our local H Mart! Wow! I’ve never gotten quite the sensorial experience even from other more expensive luxury western skincare brands as I have from History of Whoo. At 56, I’m here for it! I bought the Cheongidan set (balancer, essence, emulsion, face, and eye cream). It makes my skin feel like velvet. I love K beauty in general and have been a convert to their toners/essences for 2 years now and I’ve enjoyed many brands. History of Whoo though is in a class by itself. Would love your specific History of Whoo recommendations for my 56yo menopausal skin? Also: one of my sets came with a small vial of ginseng oil I think? When should I use it in my routine? Love your channel!
