And so the Texas era ended in 1983. This is when I shifted away from them Sadly. They went all in on the keyboard MTV euro invasion. Kind of a sellout move I’ve never understood. But even Rush had to adapt to the keyboard electronic era.

Frank Beard is one hell of a drummer. Its interesting that two of the band have beards while the drummer is one. I rate him well above Ginger Baker or John Bonham and I have heard them all live.
