    Excellent! I started with this pedal but it was called punkifier and no not Dods! Can’t find anywhere but this demo was great and blows thru 9 volts crazy. What type guitar are You playing?

    I suspect there is more variety to this pedal than made it into the demo, but the grind is pretty good.

    Sounds pretty cool on rhythm guitars but I wouldn't use it on lead, everything just smears together into a mudpie lol.

    I have the pcb version, I play at low volume for bedroom practice and I can get only a slight overdrive from the pedal even at max gain. I suspect this pedal needs to have the vol in the pedal over unity level , may be even the amp vol high to feel the overdrive from the pedal.. I have noticed also that unity level is quite in the first quarter of the pot what goes with my previous observation. I like how people in youtube get this pedal to sound but I can`t get it on my own. Any thoughts or advice? Am i imagining things? Thanks!

    Idk man, shitty tones, bad timing while you’re playing, maybe is not the tool and you’re the problem(? You’ve a really fucking good gear dude (i’ve seen your background and plus you’ve ax8) but if the music isn’t playing well, the sound and the mix is gonna suck. I didn’t wanna sound mean or disrespectful with my opinion but i’ve hear a lot of excuses and 0 solutions. I’ve seen and hear a lot of good mixes with this thing, so maybe it’s you who can’t reach a good mix or tone with it, but keep trying man! Nice video btw. 🤝

    This one was a harsher distortion similar to a boss ds-1. So you could try that. Like a ds-1 you can dial it in just gotta give it some time and tweaking.

    Man.... this thing pushing a vox ac15, or now, a supro keeley is absolutely killer!!!! It was the first od I fell in love with and it's still my go to for kicking tones with my gretsch!!! Between that, a pigtronix boost and a soul food od, I got one heck of a chain to give me just about anything I need lol I may kinda like the od on an amp lol

    Bro, Fuzz works really well with punk, NOFX uses it a lot. I get Pop Punk not using it much, but it has always worked for any type of punk, but as with any effect, it depends on how you use it.

  • @TheToneJerks

    Totally I’ve been learning. Fuzz really does work for leads. But for bass just crank it and totally works for punk/pop punk. I’m digging it

    With the Sweet Honey being famous for its dynamic response to pick-attack, have you found there is a good (or bad) place to put it in the pedal chain?

  • @TheToneJerks
    @TheToneJerks2 жыл бұрын

    So far I found it works well in front of an amp that’s “on the edge of breakup” to give it more bite/ gain. Or a way I really like to use it is on an amp that’s pretty dull sounding and clean. I use this as the dirt and I can put a tube screamer in front of that to push it even more. So essentially using the SHOD as the amps drive channel. Really can’t say anything bad about it.

  • @TheToneJerks
