    PPG Omni automotive paint with all the Omni components is so easy to do and only sand once before painting. If its hot get the extra slow reducer to let it flow out. Practice on something to set the gun and it would have been a long weekend, not three months. If you're smart enough to do the job you did, I'm positive you could manage using automotive paint and get it done once and walk away. If I can learn to do it anyone can. Enjoyed watching anyway, Thanks . DS

    Thanks for the feedback - what kind of sprayer did you use and secondly will the Omni stick to the Rustoleum once sanded? I take it that the Omni is not a single stage paint and would need to hit with clear coat.

    We are lifelong Texas residents, currently living full time in our rv with traveling in the summer. Texas Storm Chasers is our absolute "go to" for weather conditions year round. They have saved lives and even have some of their actual footage in the movie Twisters. Yes, Texas has bad weather at times, but if people just take the time to find out what to do in bad weather conditions, like you have, their time in Texas will be less scary. Now we are working in northwest Montana and it's fire season so we have those factors to consider and be wary of here. But in no way would this affect our coming here and enjoying this country.

  • @RoamingWithRosie
    @RoamingWithRosie3 күн бұрын

    Thanks for the input. We home base in New Mexico currently and even watch Texas Storm Chasers to check weather events near the state line. I like the calm way they report as well. I hope we helped many to make a plan ahead. There really is no way to avoid unexpected weather anywhere we travel these days. And fires popping up so much in the west. All we can do is be informed & know what to do. Stay safe.

    So this is first time on your channel, in 2020 i bought a 2003 HR Endeavor, which is awsome, however within the 1st year i too had to replace the radiator, i have done several repairs an upgrades, one of the better ones was to replace the fuel system lift pump with a FASS fuel system, it has improved starting an overall performance but the best part is has smoothed out the idel so when stoped at a light or backing up my mirrors quit vibrating so i can see what im looking at👍👍👍

  • @RoamingWithRosie
    @RoamingWithRosie3 күн бұрын

    Sounds like you have a good handle on your HR. We loved ours, but the engine was a bit too small for us to tow anything and drive up even moderate hills. We currently drive an 2006 Alfa See Ya. Still think these old DPs were built much better than what came after. Safe Travels!

    how long do you wait after applying the caulk to apply the eterna bond? i was told it won't adhere if the caulk was soft. i have waited 48 hrs and more and the caulk is still soft we are up in the 90s. so i just want to know what you did...thanks for vid.

  • @RoamingWithRosie
    @RoamingWithRosie8 күн бұрын

    The eterna bond goes down first. You don't have to wait. You can go over your seams with Dicor Lap Sealant (is this what you are referring to as caulk?). The Dicor lays down better when it's hot. It was over 100° in AZ when I did this. Not sure what you used as caulk. Dicor would have set. Then you could do eterna bond on top then dicor again last on seams.
