  What a great interview. Both interviewer and Naas really know their stuff, very well spoken. And I think you're right about Akhlys' music.. no other band (nightbringer comes close) has affected me in the same way. When you were talking about Pnigalion coming to its apex, wow, chills every single time, seriously. Idk if you've ever read the story Genius Loci by Clark Ashton Smith, but it really evokes the same feeling Naas has so expertly captured through his music. I applaud you both, I really enjoyed this interview, and it's given me much to think about

  Very superb interview/talk. Naas is my absolute favourite extreme/black metal artist and thus I enjoy every of his bands. The aspect of the house as a place where horror unfolds and the symbolism of the rooms is also addressed in many forms of art (especially in horror films and games) and I think many people have had experiences in this area especially from dreams. I am looking forward to Naas' upcoming albums (a Nightbringer album is still to come, he is also working on a new Akhlys and Aoratos album on which he will thematise the aspect of the house). A second episode would be really interesting; I'd like to get some deeper insights into Bestia Arcana, as he has said very little about them so far. Greetings from Germany

  I can’t explain how this interview makes me feel. The benighted path caught my eye a while back but I didn’t pay much attention to it until only yesterday. I was set on purchasing the 2nd editions of Underworld & The Voodou Quantum Leap but by “happenstance” The Benighted Path caught my eye again & TVQL became a bit out of my reach once more. So of course I purchased The Benighted Path & Underworld earlier this evening. This talk has my skin crawling with undeniable fervor but tbh finding & purchasing the book had me giddy enough. & what do you know, this was only posted 5 days ago as well? Perfect timing. This all makes me feel a little more grounded, divine madness aside lol. Thank you both so much.

  Oon itsekin joskus saanut sen etymologiaoivalluksen, että demonstroimisella on yhteys monstrumiin, ja sanonut demonstroimista vitsikkäästi "epähirviöittämiseksi". Ajattelen, että demonstroimisella on yhteytensä myös magiaan. Maaginen työskentely on demonstroimista sikäli, että kun jotain tuodaan ideoiden tasolta ilmeneväksi, sitä ideaalista asiaa osoitellaan, demonstroidaan, jonkin ilmenevän luomuksen kautta. Ajattelen myös, että demonstroimisessa on jossain määrin kyse siitä, että päivätajunnan keinoin tuodaan piileviä asioita näkyville muidenkin päivätajuntaan. Käytän mieluusti termejä solaarinen ja lunaarinen. Auringon valossa asiat näkyy selvästi ja on kaikille yhteisesti todettavissa, Kuun valossa asiat näyttäytyy himmeinä ja on aavisteluiden ja mielikuvituksen varassa. Solaarinen nimenomaan pukee sanoiksi ja käsitteiksi, ylipäätään laittaa asiat rajoihin ja järjestelee ne. Lunaarinen ammentaa intuitiivisesti, solaarinen laittaa intuitiivisesti ammennetun aineksen jonkinlaiseen järjestykseen, demonstroitavaan, muillekin päivätajuisille ymmärrettävään muotoon.
