Why don't you use all them coals that you took out,to light your fire. they will light with just a spark. And will become hot embers really fast, instead of the wood ,that has to burn before it gets equal as hot. Just a thing that i would've done👍 Not saying you do it wrong.😃

I agree with that I’ve gotten a lot of comments about cleaning the stove 2 a year but I clean my stove 1 a month and still have issues from time to time. Still cheaper than buying oil

I've made a bent 3/8" rod to be able to clear the down draft port from underneath in the reactions chamber to save from having to remove all the wood on my 560.

I have a 2002 F-250 SD 5.4 L gas engine. Had to replace the fuel pump in it last year. I also had a new windshield installed. Got new rear tires in 2022. It’s only got 126,4xx miles on it. Bought it in 2009 with 118,xxx miles. Only drive it from May to November. Its my hauling truck for my trailers. I see you have a Navy sweatshirt on. Were you in the navy? I was in from Oct. 18,1971 to Aug. 15,1975. I got out early to go to school. Got out as an ADJ3. Was stationed at NAS Oceana, Va. Beach, Va. I didn’t work in my rate. I was an A-6 Intruder plane captain. Was on 3 flat tops. The USS FDR, USS Independence & USS Lexington for pilot carrier qualifications ( lands & take offs) on the boat. Also went to Yuma & Fallon for bombing practice. NAS Jacksonville for ground support for Lexington carquals.

I didn’t serve in the navy my daughter was in ROTC in school and I was given the sweatshirt at one of the award ceremonies. Thank you for your service though. Your truck sounds like it is well loved like mine I have done a lot of work to get it to where it is now
