  Actually the long defunct Airline, Canada 3000, also operated a 30 foot Gillig Phantom with no front door at the Airport in Toronto back in 1998-1999 or so.

  I'm so happy this thing was saved, I grew up taking them on the North Shore. I was losing hope when I heard someone say there was a frame issue. Too bad it will probably never be in Vancouver again though

  I wish that New flyer didn’t discontinued New flyer D40 in 1994 is too soon. New flyer should have discontinued New flyer D40 along with the rest of new flyer HF Family Like c40,D35,D60 idk about E40&60 but other than that yeah new flyer should have done What I said

  I miss this bus. ETS retired all their 2001 and 2003 New Flyer D60LF’s in 2019, and St. Albert Transit retired all their 2001 New Flyer D60LF’s in 2020 and still have their 2006 New Flyer D60LF’s operating in service.

  Good video! I'm glad that area has a bus; even though it seems walkable because it has sidewalks, it seems like the kind of area where distances on foot are deceptive because it looks like it _should_ take less time thank what it _actually will_ take. Thanks for the view into another place besides home....

  Haha i know im really late but i just got back from a trip to Milk River along that line, i stopped in the town of Warner as i saw a pair of the striped Action Red SD40's on a work train at the Warner grain elevator. On my way back up north, i drove past the railyard outside of lethbridge and saw the Hapag-lloyd orange unit leading a train, plus a Dual Flags geep working the switcher, AND a CMQ unit leading some sort of coach train presumably carrying workers or some executive at CPKC.

  I don't know how i saw all this in one trip, and im reallllyyyyyy mad that i had put my phone in the bag, which was in the trunk, so i couldnt record anything except i got a video of the SD40-2 pair the day prior. Also, in December 2023, i was heading down for christmas and had a somewhat similar lineup to this video. SD30C-ECO 5033 leading, a pair of SD60s, and a KCS GE ES44.

  Although I prefer the New Look over any other bus (yes even the Routemaster), I think the Detroit 6V71N sounds better in a Classic.
