FBCTI: Dr. Michael K. Haynes founded The Faith Based Counselor Training Institute in 1996. It was one of the first 501c3 faith-based training schools incorporated in America. Since beginning, FBCTI has trained and certified over 22,000 people worldwide to become Chaplains and Restorative Therapist. The courses are designed to teach people how to counsel hurting clients who are dealing with life controlling marriage problems, addiction challenges, anger management, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, vocational struggles, and many other causes of negative consequence behavior. Michael is a very well known pastor and author. He has written and assisted in the publication of over 60 books for platform personalities and himself.
Cross Roads: Michael's daughter, Holly Haynes is the CEO of FBCTI and she travels the country for FBCTI in an RV that she calls Cross Roads and tells of her journey's to churches and communities around the U.S. Tune in for the ride along!

I close my laptop, Holly Haynes' words echoing in my mind. At 42, I feel lost, adrift in a life I barely recognize. Where did that vivacious dreamer go? Twenty years ago, I was going to set the art world on fire. Now? I'm buried in spreadsheets, my creativity withering in a cubicle. I settled for stability, chose the safe path. Marriage, kids, mortgage - I did everything "right." So why does it feel so wrong? Holly's story... God, it stirs something in me. Multiple careers, sailing adventures, building a life in Belize. I can barely muster the courage to change my hairstyle. The idea of selling my art online both thrills and terrifies me. My easel's gathering dust in the attic - I can't even remember the last time I touched a paintbrush. But the doubts creep in, familiar and crushing. "You're too old," they whisper. "It's too late to start over." With the kids' college funds to think about, chasing dreams feels selfish, irresponsible even. And my faith? Once my cornerstone, now it's just... there. Sundays and the occasional bedtime prayer. Holly talked about trusting God's plan, about the Proverbs 31 woman. I feel so far from that ideal it makes my chest ache. As I chop vegetables for dinner, my mind races. Could I really reinvent myself now? What would Tom think if I said I wanted to pursue art again? Would the kids understand? The weight of it all - the indecision, the what-ifs, the roads not taken - it's suffocating. But there's this tiny spark, this flicker of... hope? Is it really too late? I take a deep breath. Maybe... maybe I start small. Tomorrow, I'll dig out that easel. Just hold a brush again. It's not much, but it's a start. Stirring the sauce, I find myself whispering a prayer. It's been so long since I've really talked to God. "Please," I murmur, "I need guidance. Courage. Show me it's not too late." It's just a small step. But somehow, it feels like the beginning of something big.
