I have an interview for a college application tomorrow. In my sop, i mentioned I like HRM just because I saw and liked what holly flax did in the Office. I knew I would be cross-questioned. I can confidently answer few of the questions after watching this video. Thanks man.

HR is an amazing broad vital to all organizations field to be in, it actually includes many subfields under the umbrella of HR. If you are working in people and culture development this is a splendid opportunity to create an amazing DEI experience in which everyone feels welcome, truly cared for and included to shine their light and flourish within their own unique potential. HR analytics involves business analysis and is great for people who enjoy analytics as is compensation, I really like analytics, can be done remotely too. HR is the core of the business/organization as is people, I think generalist HR positions people who are expected to do everything payroll to recruiting must be paid at the highest band/level within the organization, the responsibility is enormous. Some companies recognize as such and offer 120-150k in Canada for full scope HR position, less for less responsibility, so if you confident you can deliver consistently negotiate on the high end. In the US pay is much higher for similar roles. A very personally and spiritually rewarding job when done guided with your heart, boundaries/interpersonal skills emotional intelligence ect... key.
