My dad was hired by Transocean sometime in 1954 and was immediately farmed out to Iranian Airways, a subsidiary to Transocean! His name was Captain T. K. Delahunt based out of Oakland CA

Magic! Thank you for sharing.
In my opinion, the Army Corp of Engineers ruined the Wedge during their last repair. The impact zone of the large waves caused the massive jetty boulders to slide down in the sand away from the jetty. Instead of just putting them back where they belonged, they put much smaller boulders and shards of granite. This changed the slope of the jetty and affected the side wave. The shards would bounce off my head. Really a bad job of fixing the jetty.
Fantastic first hand account of local history
This is a great tutorial.
THANKS, I really needed a short tutorial. Greetings from Mexico 🦅🔥

What type of pumpkin do they use
Papa Paepo’o prone-style , no skeggs just flat bottom wood boards. Riding a 3/8” - 1/2” thick plywood is surfing. Until surf foam came along n sponge boards, it’s not paipo cause paipo is made out of wood..

Jerry Nieblas is a fraud! He’s the meanest old man that I know. Don’t listen to him. He’s full of hate and evil. A bad neighbor!

I’m so proud of this. I am proud of you Jerry Nieblas! I will show this to my children and my grandchildren. Thank you.
I used foam and cut it to look like rocks, filled the pool with resin, then I added a hand carved snake statue with two man eating plants made out of clay, I then mixed more epoxy, added luminescent green to the epoxy and made the pool a toxic sludge, then I made vines with string and foam leaves, custom painted everything and took me about 2 weeks but this thing looks fantastic, super proud of my skills, good luck have fun and explore your imagination
I recreated this for my fairy garden. Held up for about 8 months. Then the rocks started falling off and the glue turned white and not clear anymore. I suggest resin instead of the glue and mortar for the rocks instead off a hot glue gun.
Thank you for the tips!
Next month will be the 70th year since the Jamboree. I wish there would be a Reunion for those of us still here and able. Donald MacKay
How do you spell the true name of saddleback mountain?
Did you know my Cousin Gene Peterson? He was a wedge fanatic for many years and then was grievously injured there years ago and died about a year later-- I loved Gene and his Brother Bill-- and miss both of them so very much.
I got to bodysurf with Gene a lot over the years. His enthusiasm for the wave, even at his age, was infectious. Even though we had a large age gap, I always enjoyed talking to him in and out of the water, and was always shocked at his ability to throw caution to the wind while we were out there.
T K. Brimer. Legend. Storyteller. I Can't get enough of his knowledge.
I am sorry, the price of the property back in the 60 and 70’s were not at those prices… you told a lie.
Hodads! I love that guy. That term fits perfectly at Sano for all the hipsters.
There's a surf legend! I'm glad to see him on here.
Can I find books in French language
Wow - thank you for sharing
My Grandfather was a navigator for Trans Ocean after serving in the air force... My mom has a Trans Ocean Airlines Book and in it there is a picture of him at one of his favorite spots, Hawaii :-) Our family is from the Azores, and Soares is the name ... Thanks for the video! Not a lot out there on this company 🙂
Hears whispers in a library -- must be ghosts. Whispers. In a library.
