Hint if you build a cabinet on a work bench..... Remove the drawers before lowering to the floor. Takes off some of the weight, plus you can hold the front edge.

I got the brushless ryobi while ill say its not as durable as a dewalt or a milwaukee and gotta say when helping friends with projects that bleed red or yellow i was never really held back by the limegreen unless i drop it from a latter then i might be concerned

Very cool cabinet, especially the flip out sections 👍🏻. A bit of wax in the tracks would also help the doors slide better 👍🏻. Well done 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♂️

When comparing dewalt vs Milwaukee it comes down to what trade your in .. mechanics hands down Milwaukee .. carpenter and electric i find dewalt has the edge.. i have both lines and by trade im a mechanic.. so dewalt stays at home .. the only two items from them at work would be excellent cordless heat gun and the angle grinders are amazing

Need to see how to take down the lampshade (e.g. Melodi) to clean it. Really impossible without breaking it.

High school Geometry teacher here. The cheat sheet is fine, but limiting. To find the angle for any regular polygon (a polygon with equal sides and equal angles) of n sides, use 180(n-2) then divide this number by the number sides. For example, what angle for a hexagon? A hexagon has 6 sides, so n=6. Here we go: 180(6-2)=720, and 720/6=120. So, set your jig to 120 (of which you did). What if for some reason you wanted to make a 12 sided polygon? In this case, n=12; 180(12-2)=1800; and 1800/12=150. Set the jig to 150 degree and you will get a regular dodecagon! BTW, very nicely done.

Now I've seen it all. Coming from metric system I knew inches etc. made no sense. And now I learn there are even nominal and actual measurements. This is pure madness!

After using several different manufacturers products over the course of 32 years in the exhibit carpentry business and the carpenter's union, I've found Rigid, Porter Cable, Marita and Milwaukee last longest and are the most dependable

Black and Decker had some amazing CORDED tools but the cordless ones are totally useless use brushes and smell. Even the 20 volts I would not even consider them to be a screwdriver even with a hammer drill setting

@DIYMontreal it turned out lovely. How often do you have to do it? I can't stand grey! Wish I saw this before I "refreshed" mine. Over time our deck (much older than yours) swelled/shrank, popped nails, twisted and split. You definitely couldn't walk without footwear. It took me days to pound nails back down, hand plane (I tortured my way through with a block plane fresh out of the package...I didn't know at the time there was a better way...sigh). After painstakingly sanding/planing every knot and bump out and crippling my stupid arthritis I finally was able to step back and admire my efforts. I stained with Thompson seal over fresh looking boards. I had to work under tarps in sections because it decided to rain day after day. The temperature was lowering quickly so I couldn't waste any more time. I was furious with the Thompson seal! I was ridiculously expensive, and only kept the grey away 3 months!! Oh and supposedly needs redone EVERY year...

There is a chuck that you can adjust to negate the wrist snap on the better drills. Would've been clear DeWalt with that in consideration in the tests.

Thank you very much for this video. First time I was making table top for my kitchen I bought my first router and sure thing I did not read manual carefully enough to notice bit about proper direction. As a result I have few places (luckily not very noticeable) which reminds me to read manuals more carefully. Also similar proverb as "measure twice, cut once" in my language sounds like "measure 7 times, cut once". To be absolutely sure, it seems)

You are very wise not to buy equipment for the brand itself. I liked the test, especially regarding batteries. He showed that Li-On technology gives equal opportunities to every manufacturer. The differences were slight. It's a pity that the test did not include brands such as Makita and Bosch.

Monport machines are known for their consistency and excellent performance, supported by robust customer service. Switching to a Monport laser could help you achieve the uniform, high-quality engravings you're aiming for, with fewer technical difficulties.
