    Ive that pedal and ive only liked it two ways. 1st is set the vol however, set the tone at 1030ish and the drive about 9 and use it to kick a high gain on the amp into sonic bliss. The 2nd way i like this pedal is on a passive p bass with a compressor before it. Set the tone anout 9 and drive about 8 and vol to taste.

  • @kaleidoscopeschool

    would you say that the existence of those two uses for you, while very specific, make the pedal valuable?

    The previous Korg Mini tuner had an option to have a battery... sucks that they removed it from this newer version

    I think it's always great to have options, so I don't disagree with this. I personally never uses batteries though because a corollary to Murphy's Law of Equipment states: "A battery shall work for 1,000 rehearsals but fail at the 1st gig."

    I mixed the audio for this from several sound sources, but none of those was the actual board, because we were running multiple bands back to back at Hard Rock Cafe Seattle and there wasn't time to discuss getting a line out from the board with the sound man. So the sound is likely a blend of the ipad near the keys, the GoPro on the drums and my roving handheld camera. What are you listening on?

  • @kaleidoscopeschool
    @kaleidoscopeschool10 күн бұрын

    @@dejavu9333 that's great info. I'm new to Templeboard and with over $120,000 of stuff in 11 studios I don't always give the fullest attention to each one of my projects, acquisitions or areas. I've been building pedal and effects systems since the mid 80s and I'm sure I fall into doing things the way I've done them before (i.e. cable ties). If the product listing online mentioned these pedal plates when I purchased the templeboard, I missed that mention; and if it didnt mention them, it should have! Thanks for pointing this out. I make videos to be helpful to people, and when I miss info, I'm glad people point it out in the comments.

    The Fishman settings are gain half up, 2/3 Treble 1/3 mid 2/3 bass slight reverb. It's a pretty straightforward amp. The guitar honestly has more to do with the specific tone / EQ than the amp. That being said the Fishman is an incredible product that does what it does well and gets itself out of the way.
