Serious question: there are three admirals to choose from at the beginning, right? Does that mean the ships available under the others will remain unavailable to you? Do you have to purchase certain upgrades to get those other ships?
Yep that is indeed correct You're going to be locked out of certain ships whenever you choose a certain admiral

Interesting that the maw isn't the titan's ultimate ability. And the icon for said ultimate looks quite intere3sting, a stellar phase jump picture. Does it allow the titan to leap from one gravity well to another?
Now this build is 6 months old I have newer builds out there, but yes the reason for its ultimate ability becoming its first ability is because this takes place 20 to 35 years after rebellion, so with that being said they have master their maw ability so now they're ultimate ability is connecting or dropping phase gates between your planet and itself allowing it to warp between a planet that you have a phase gate on and itself

Well it's not really fictional because this mission happens right after mission 8 the mission after fort Worth, because if you look at the assault on Galveston you'll see that captains blairs body being used

@@brianshooter_6723 I still can't believe Captain Blair was stupid enough to think that legion needed humans and apparently according to the developers he was actually skinned alive but they just couldn't make it into a cutscene so you know

When did they add this mission in?
Basically you would have to be on steam and opt into beta but this mission happens right after fort Worth so basically once you opt into the beta reload your fort Worth complete save then you'll be able to access it

Indeed it was the best approach to take making a defensive wall and then letting them come to you because they're just going to go past you anyway
Im wondering if the steam release will have anything special or be linked to dlc. Yesterday saw that sins 2 released on stardock already (they just suck at advertising?) $40 now, kinda want on steam to keep my game library together for ease. But maybe need to rethink if price difference is large
Well I still think it's going to be the same price on steam which is how it is on the epic game store which is $40, steam release and the full version of the release of the game is going to be sometime mid-august, but the game wasn't released its in Early Access because we the players wanted to give the developers feedback what's to help them find bugs and stuff within the game to help them push it out much faster

Armada 3, huh? Not bad. Consider trying out Ages of the Federation mod, specifically TOS Federation vs TOS Klingons. Very different balance. More close calls. Far more interesting than this. Sins of the Prophets is also quite interesting in terms of gameplay challenges.
Yeah I've been through hell trying to find stuff to finding the pngs for these thumbnails that's why I took so long I am going to play some age of the federation as well I wanted to go back to my roots you know

Oh because I'm playing it on the Epic Store I've been playing this game since 2023 when it first released on the Epic store yes I'm one of the earliest technical alpha testers I have played this game when it only had one ship in it

Not my first Sins II video, I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one. Features such as new 64 bit engine which fully utilizes multicores, each projectile tracked, visual upgrades, etc. all welcome. I realize this is still early release and maybe some elements were left at default settings for clarity but I hope the UI is resizable. Dominates way too much screen real estate even at 4K. The updates to the soundtrack are nice as well. The fact it's not an entirely different game than the first one, as some commenters dis is a plus in my opinion. The game was complex enough to learn in the first place and the formula works so why fix it if it's not broken? Should make the transition easier and more enjoyable. The zoom-ins to highlight new details is a nice touch. Thx for posting this up.

Classic Titans and Flagships are great, but will there be new Titans and Flagships?
We don't know yet but from what we have discussed with the developers they say they do have long-term plans for the game so they might make it DLC or something along the roads we might even get an entirely new faction
In a recent video from the developers I saw that space stations could be relocated inside the orbit according to your needs. Could this be done in the old game?
Nope you can change the orbit rotation and allow your stations to actually move in the original game this was not the case at all because the planets could not move in the original
You could move the vasari space station in gravity well and jump it if you made phase stabilizers on two adjacent grav wells

A lot orbiting planet, more minor faction, way the faction function is different for one another traversable turret with individual tracking, and 64 bit engine

@@TogameRosecraft oh if you check my community post I'm not done yet there's a lot more they're going to be adding a system to where you actually see the damages on your ship as well does new planet types and more stuff
@@TogameRosecraftI also forgot to mention that you can custom build each of your Capital ships to where they can feel unique and individual when you put select skills on them or components is what the game calls them making every capital ship you make have a unique role that you wanted to have
