"Very nice"
this is the second "walk through" I've watched presented by someone who sounds like a giggly teenager who of course skipped most of the important stuff - the mechanicals. A boat is not a "house" and you aren't marketing to idiots for the most part.
Interior is a let down. Put a breakfast counter in with a port door, don’t need couches on both sides, free chairs, poker table? Every meal in the living room on a 54 f boat?
Is it a Class A ocean going vessel? What is the range at 8kts? What redundant systems does it have?
Absolutely gorgeous yacht! Would look good here in the Marina del Rey California. Perfect for Catalina Island. Or just anchored off the Malibu Pier.
Hi,Steve how about the range
2,000 NM at 10 knots. 829 at 20 knots. Incredible!! Long range cruising combined with low fuel burn at higher speeds, cruising speed is about 24 knots!
Hi Sara, YOU forgot to tell the range
Nice
engine room?
Get the camera man to film you and what you are showing from in front of you. Your back is facing the camera ninety percent of the time.
Respectfully, if I may offer a suggestion. I've watch a few of your presentations recently. I enjoy them. You've shown very nice boats in the past, and you cover the features quite well. But, one thing that seems to detract from your videos for me is that the person behind the camera tends to be too focused on keeping "you" centered in the frame, as opposed to focusing on the features of the boat instead. If I may suggest one idea...Respectfully? Maybe consider doing a short opening and closing presentation on camera, then a voice-over of the video throughout the remaining video. That way people are more focused on the boat. With the tight quarters on a boat, it seems the person behind the camera often struggles with finding a good camera angle to keep you and the features in the frame. Case in point, when you went down the port side deck from aft to forward- The only thing the camera person was focusing on was your back. Hope you don't mind me sharing this thought. Very nice boat BTW! Have a great weekend.
Gorgeous! The hostess that is.
I skipped around but did you give us the engine stats, tankage, gph. cruise speed, top end. stabilized? thank you. As a guy, The deciding factor is performance. Everything else comes after that. Your are quite charming and knowledgeable of yachts. Thank you.
I absolutely love these boats. The teak and wood on the outside is hours and hours and hours of work every single year is the only thing holding me back. What a beautiful kept boat
This is one of the most frustrating videos ive seen of a boat walkthrough. The camera person needs to learn how to point it at things as described which means to point it down and pan it to the sides way way more often.
$900,000.00 ? Absolutely Ridiculous price for this boat. Especially compared to the price of comparable boats.
Just out of curiosity, what would you have listed it at?
@@theabsolutetruth2024 Price seems about right for a 2013. I think I saw a 2000 at about $450.
The owner will see them shoes
Engines???
Motor ❓❓
Beautiful..
Nice boat
Like fine wine!!! Getting better as time passes. Good job, Sarah.
Yeah great! You NEVER show the engine rooms!! I’m a potential buyer and I know what they look like inside. But seeing the engine room is FAR more important to me. You don’t list any equipment or hull specs in your videos. That was a beautiful boat btw, maybe next time you could remember how IMPORTANT the engine room and mechanical specs are to serious buyers. Peace✌️😎🇺🇸
Awesome.
Your camera guy sucks. He keeps you in frame and hardly showed any of the boat.
Yes Madam Love the engine Room😁
just another 12 volt ha ha would be great with a person that know whet they talk abouth
as always, great job
Learn the correct nautical language.
Very nice boat...but a walk through should not be chopoed up....show us the boat....bot what you think is important....
Too bad, as "Cats don't like water." But with all that weight, at only 435hp each it would be easy to re-power with Yanmar 6's, no need to go to a large 6 like MAN because the resistance curve of this boat runs into a wall and more power will only suck down more fuel with little to no gain in speed.
Never liked how so many builders used 3208's, they are throw away engines. I would go with a Cummins 6 myself. A pair of Cummins 8.3's would be sweet sitting in that engine room.
@@josephkordinak1591 Know what you mean about Cats, but it's best to get something designed for marine use to begin with. Yanmars may not be big enough for the preferred rating in such a semi displacement hull, but MAN were built to run continuously for really long periods of time - and of course that as Rudolph Diesel's company in the beginning. But I have never heard such smooth or quieter running engines at any speed. No affiliation, I just did a lot of studies before choosing.
Cat 3208 ‘s are the best. No reason to repower.
@@josephkordinak1591 they used them because they are excellent. I would never use a Cummins.
@@hessranch well if I ever get a boat with throw away 3208's I will give you a call and you can have them. I would never put an engine in a larger boat that wasn't sleeved.
Super boat. The amount of seating and various seating options stands out. Hard to believe only a 57 considering the volume.
A very professional tour of this ship which has a super engine room.
Awesome boat .
We agree!
I know Grand Banks Yachts will sell themselves but this video takes the biscuit as it were. Would it be unfair to expect a walk around and have some sort of explanation about the yacht. They are not cheap and are a significant investment as it were. Grand Banks put a lot of effort into their yachts sadly it was not matched by this video or presentation as it were.
Hi Mark, we typical do walkthrough videos of all our boats! However this boat is not yet in our possession to be able to do the normal detailed walkthrough that we would prefer. She will arrive in South Florida soon though so keep a look out! Thanks for watching 😊
Nice boat. Been looking around lots. Would prefer a door on the port side rather than storage, would never be interested in built in sofas, well maybe one side but for sure separate chairs on one side. Not sure if all the small windows open. Was looking at the Hunt 63 and fell in love with the wood slat or fake wood ceiling, vinyl has issues after a while. . Grand Banks are nice tho.
There are three large electric windows in the salon (middle ones to port and starboard) and depending on the boat either one or both of the aft windows drop as well. We can do many different arrangements in the salon for seating so we can definitely accommodate your requests along with a custom wood slat headliner, I am sure we can manage that! We actually just listed a boat right now with separate chairs to port and opposing couches to starboard (view photos here - www.yachtpics.com/grand_banks_yacht_sales/60_grand_banks_passat_I/index.html). Please email us if you want more information! [email protected]
I have to say a photo slideshow really is boring . I like the channel but please videos !
Hi William, Yes we prefer to do the detailed walkthrough videos too! We haven’t been able to get onboard yet to do one for this new listing so we are just working with what we have. One should come soon! Thanks for watching 😊
I absolutely love the boat , good job Mr. Steve
Just bought a ticket... if all works out, I'll be calling you next week ;-)
Sarah you are great in these! (Steve you’re ok too 😂) You guys have great taste in boats!
Great video!
A shame it has no engines
Another good one Steve , your calm voice is relaxing
Open every lock without locking them is a bad habit. Leave them locked…
Great job. Keep up the good work. Beautiful smile 😁
Umm...
Why does she push the soft close drawers..?????
That whale in the VIP state room has to be one of the most tasteful bits of art I’ve seen in a boat. It’s just so cool!
My surveyor always used to drool when he talked about grand banks. I never understood it. These new designs have me doing the same. Perfection!
Steve - this is a great review. I have tuned into a couple of your videos over and over again. You could’ve made a career of doing just this!
