When my light starts flashing I release the brake and push the button one more time then the flashing light just turns off. I’ve tried this a hundred times and it refuses to stay in service mode.

How do you fix the “Service parking brake” Warning light on this truck ? Electronic Parking brake isn’t working. I’m changing the rotors and pads this weekend …maybe I’ll see something after I tear it apart …

🛑🚨 IF YOU ALREADY REMOVED YOUR CALIPER & HAVE NOT PUT IT IN BRAKE SERVICE MODE READ THIS!!!! Ok I did something similar to this before I could figure out how to put it in brake services mode i made the same mistake and tried doing this after I had already disassembled the rear brakes. I almost blew out the piston luckily I had someone watching and i stop before it could blow, but they did over extend. After all that I got all the lights come on probably because I had just over extended my piston (border line blew it out) I then tuck of the electric parking brake motor and winded the piston back , cleared all codes and they never came back. Know everyone reading this YOU CANNOT PUT IT IN BRAKE SERVICE MODE IF YOU ALREADY TUCK EVERYTHING APART…..TO LATE KNOW YOU HAVE TO DO IT MANUALLY OR YOU WILL BLOW THE PISTON that’s why I said in my other video if you already started taking everything apart you can’t do this anymore you will have to do it manually removing the electric parking brake motor and wind it back in by hand.

I replaced the rear rotors and pads last weekend. Found a set of pads that came with the pad wear sensor, but also found the sensor for $14 at autozone. I put the truck in brake service mode and also replaced the rear sensor along with the pads and rotors. When I was done I started the truck, took it out of brake service mode, and then the computer asked me if the pads were replaced....I selected "yes" and it reset the rear pads to %100 and left the front pads at %33. Also, I removed the electronic parking brake from the caliper and fully compressed the caliper piston with an oil filter wrench/clamp thing I had on hand....you could also just use a C-clamp. The tool is only really necessary if you dont removed the electronic parking brake.

I just changed both belts and the Idler pulley on my 2019 AT4 6.2, she was screaming hard. I have no idea why it was so difficult for you to get the Serpentine belt on. I am by no means a mechanic other than KZread videos. First off there is no need for the extra tool don't waste your money just use zip ties instead. I used 4 zip ties to get the AC belt on and 5 zip ties to get the Serpentine. I used a long breaker bar with a 24mm socket to turn the crank shaft no problem from underneath (if you jack the truck up for those of us without a lift it's way easier). Took me longer to guide the belt and zip tie it down than to turn the belts on. I spent a good bit of time cleaning the belt residue off the Alternator pulley (don't forget to do that). If you run into zero issues this is a 30min job max. I called GM to see what they would charge. Their $485.00 job cost me $65.00. But thank you for starting me in the right direction with your video.

Hi J.A.P.S. I too have a 2020 Silverado so I found you videos of interest. I could have this incorrect from viewing your video so forgive me if I am not correct. It looked like when you removed the left rear tire you moved that to the right front to install, laying it down there. Then the left rear tire.., you moved that to the right front to install, laying it down. The rear tires should be moved forward to the front and not crossed. The front are crossed to the opposite rear. That is in the manual.
