I had always wondered what state Raccoon city was suppose to be a part of if it’s somewhere in the midwestern region of America. Judging by the terrain of it having large forests and mountains in the outskirts of Arklay, I would have to guess that it’s probably somewhere in Colorado. Not that it really matters but I was curious as it was never actually disclosed to my knowledge in any of the games. Also, it never made sense to me why Wesker doesn’t mutate like Birkin die after injecting it into himself. They’re both on the brink of death but I guess it’s because Wesker injects himself before he is impaled by the tyrant whereas Birkin does so after he is shot several times and perhaps this is the reason why he transforms into the G tyrant? It still doesn’t make sense to me as to why Wesker is able to maintain his human form but exhibit super human abilities when every other test subject has transformed.

Birkin and Wesker were injected with different viruses. After Birkin was shot for his G-Virus samples he injected himself with the G to stop the Umbrella soldiers. Wesker on the other hand, like the other surviving Wesker children, was tricked into taking a virus by Spencer. (Spencer used someone he trusted, Birkin, to give him the virus). The effects only started after his near death experience with the Tyrant.

The G-Virus tried to restore someone in a way, which probably also caused the mutation of someone who was critically injured so abruptly, like with Birkin. Wesker had a more pure version of the Progenitor virus, which was probably the reason why he stayed so "normal" for so long

Whoa... you were able to chronologically place both Leon's and Claire's in perfect order... Amazing work RETV I didn't like how they excluded Leon meeting Sherry earlier until the train though, not that big of an impact to re-enforce him helping her like she said in RE6

I thought this was really good, shame she didn't mention how she had a brother too, though I'm happy you didn't show that scene where the Darkside Chronicles showed Alexia killing her brother.

I doubt that the remake of the fourth part can be connected with Darkside Chronicles in any way, one "Operation Javier" in RE4Remake completely contradicts Darkside Chronicles. I'm not talking about the beefy Leon, who overdid it with steroids in RE4Remake.

Amen to that. I tried playing the original games on PS1 and couldn't get into them. It wasn't until RE4 came out on GameCube that I became a fan of the games. And Leon is far and away my favorite character of all time.

I really love this and i appreciate the amount of edit that went into this. I've always wanted to see/make a combined edit of both Chris and Jill since they didn't fix the continuity in Remake. You know, the only thing i probably would have done differently is that replace the "fit nicely into a sandwich" with "almost a Jill sandwich". It would have been a bit jarring to hear but it would feel better (Revelations 2). I dunno. Other than that, it's marvelous.

This game is 10/10 but the only problem is that Chris and Jill Campaigns don’t connect each other. RE2 Remake made this mistake also. Hope for a future RE Engine Remake of 1, it would be cool to revisit the mansion in another perspective and a much darker tone.
