Very interesting that it’s DC, I was expecting it to be 60hz but I guess not! It almost sounds like an air compressor in my opinion lol.

Whatever happened to all of the OMC tech data & other IP? I am presently dealing with the restoration of an OMC 1974 model 990212R engine. The sources that I have found are fragmentary & sometimes contradictory. In short people who go past "modified 307CID small block Chev" seem to be mostly guessing. TIA for whatever info that might be around.

I guess this is the predecessor to the 7200 panel, which I’m pretty sure was the predecessor to the E3. I’ve seen quite a few 7200 systems with speaker strobes. Any idea what they might sound like? Maybe they’re using external voice evacuation panels from a different manufacturer?

They just installed the Autocall version at the office building my therapist works at! It's replacing a Silent Knight IFP-100 panel installed in 2011, which in turn replaced a Kidde-Thorn panel from the 1980s. Aside from an addressable TrueAlarm detector replacing the Silent Knight detector near the panel, nothing else with the system was changed (mostly Wheelock MT-24-LSM horn/strobes along with a random Wheelock NS and a few Exceders, System Sensor i3 smoke detectors, and Edwards/AIP 270-SPO pulls and at least one replacement Fire-Lite BG-12).

We had one in our previous residence and to be quite frank it was complete garbage. The system would constantly throw false alarms and would call the monitoring company with an alarm when the system was fully disarmed.
