曬乾了的叫「土魷」,舊日香港有「油泡土魷」、「油泡鴛鴦魷」等平價小菜;「吊片」則是把鮮魷魚曬至半乾濕然後出售,並非全乾,據說,舊日從九龍灣捕獲的魷魚質量較好,所以酒樓食肆都把出品冠以「九龍吊片」來作賣點,「椒鹽百花釀吊片」乃一道香港經典名菜。
十多歲時因有一個月要搭一小時巴士返夜學,五點前就要食完晚飯,於是簡簡單單電飯煲蒸雞脾,不過係無味飯,雞脾亦係無添加,只係將佢解凍清蒸,然而,肉質鮮美;時代唔同,宜家啲雪藏雞脾淡而無味,一味啖啖肉;當年,價廉物美,五毫子大大隻,而且皮下脂肪冇宜家啲咁厚,蒸熟都唔太肥膩,食得好開心,一隻雞牌,兩碗白飯,好和味!(1977)

BoBo今早起身見到呢個視頻,二話不說早餐後即買料,魷魚因浸發需時,所以只是猪皮魚旦,加入沙茶,海鮮醬,味道好夾,咖哩外滲入淡淡的沙茶醬,超正。我煮食不精,跟你學習蒜蓉豆豉醬豬扒,看菜名簡單,不過在你教導吓醃豬扒技巧,肉質嫩滑,現成為我一拿手好菜,多謝妳呀!
