Wyoming Hunter came to forwishen when Wyoming native Nick Duncombe turned his family tradition into a passion. Nick has enjoyed hunting since he was a young boy, following his father around the woods. Hunting didn’t become his passion until he ended his career as a professional bull rider. To be a successful bull rider you have to be very dedicated and focused to the sport. Nick needed to replace his love of bull riding after retirement, and filming his hunts became his new passion. Nick primarily hunts alone and does the film work himself, a true D.I.Y. SOLO hunter.

do you use a secondary thermometer to monitor how correct the coolbot is? I have noticed that when I have mine set to 38 degrees by seperate ambient probe i have hanging will be as low as 32 degrees while the coolbot shows 36 or 38 most of the time.
I’ve used one in the past but not recently. I never noticed and temp differences with mine. Mine will drop down into the low 30’s over night when temps are cold.
Thank you mate, very informative.
You bet, glad I could help!
Can I ask a question....when all you hunters kill all these wonderful creatures what would be lifted for future generations to see? The pronghorn worked real hard to survive extinction to be here today....and you are killing them off.... REALLY REALLY 👎
To answer your question, wildlife are managed by expert biologists. They study and learn how many animals can sustain a healthy life on the landscape. When areas exceed these numbers hunting is allowed and they only sell that exact amount of tags. Us as hunters are put in a random draw to draw these tags. Our money goes to help these animals. Hunters are conservationist. We eat all the meat from these animals, and antelope meat is probably our favorite game meat. I understand your believes and don’t have a problem with you not liking hunting, I’m not going to try to change your mind but I want to give you my side of the story. I appreciate you commenting and hopefully my insight will help you better understand why we hunt.
getting a dog house blind was the smartest thing i've done for hunting. so far got a nice 8 point and a big doe out of mine. both with my 30 30. have not had a chance with the bow yet, plan on it this year.
Great video, thanks
You bet
I just put mine in my cooler first time today excited😅
Love mine
Interesting video. I have a friend that does this type of work up here in MT
This construction company is out of Driggs Idaho and this is the only kinda work they do. It was really cool to watch them work.
Great hunting, cool video...
Thank you! Antelope is one of our favorite hunts here in Wyoming
How tall are you? Dude in the video?
5’ 10”
@@NickW.H. coolness thanks just trying to size it up
Sleeping bag has been great. I still use it.
@@NickW.H. I'm Definitely looking to pick one up it's so hard to find a good quality that packs down small enough to pack away with all the other garbage we have to carry.
This is great. Did you have to get a town building permit before you started this project?
Thank you. I live in a small town in Wyoming and I actually live in the county so there is no permit required.
So the back end of the a/c sits outside correct? If so, is there a minimum outside temperature that would cause this set up not to work? What’s the lowest outside temperature in which you have used this set up?
I have actually run mine when the temps were below freezing over night and in the 40’s during the day. Probably didn’t need to run it at all.
Wondering if bypod legs are longer than muzzle. Why carry both bypod and trypod
This is one of the best no greatest videos I've seen yet. Brock, you done fantastic, and the best part is you told about the hunt in your own words which made it all the better. Lots of luck in all the future hunts that you'll be doing. And I wish you the best on your future surgeries.
👏👏👏👏Congratulations young man!!!…now how are you gonna beat that buck?
What size AC unit did you use for the size of your cooler?
It is a 10,000 BTU I believe. It’s been awhile since I’ve looked at it.
Can you stand up in this blind?
It is about 5 foot tall. It’s been a few years since I’ve used it so I can’t remember exactly. You definitely can not shoot standing up.
Ac was invented to keep gun powder dry for us army as a by product of removing the moisture the air is cooled ie you wont notice any moisture issue ever if the window unit drains to outside of your cooler
Yeah, shit calibre
What product did you use on the walls
Your bow is about 2" too long for your drawlength. You've got the string going way past your nose and your hand floating around behind your head.
Congrats on 2 great goats. What an awesome hunt for you both!
Thanks a bunch!
Great shot, Ranger!
Thank you.
blessed
Awesome stuff! 👌 😊
😁 Thank you!
It is under rated it is what I shoot abd they dont run
Definitely, just the latest fad.
Че посрать то не дали .
Thanks for the video.
I need proof it's a 6.5 needmore you are shooting here !
.270 Win .243 Win , .22-250 Rem .30-06 Gov All Can Make Those Shots No Problem !!! Show Me Something I Don't Know 😂😅😊
The stomach would have been cleaner if you let him get his shit out.
😂 I don’t gut antelope anyway. I skin and quarter them.
The whole fan boy caliber selection is overrated. 243, 270, and 300 win mag will kill any fucking thing in the country.
.243 Win. has been used to take pronghorn commonly with an 80 grain bullet. They are not tough to kill.
Не дать покакать зверюшке😢
Would like to know what bullet was used, I'm sure it was not a match bullet
Honrnady ELD X 143 grain. I don’t have video of it but same results on two mule deer. The gun has been great for my 12 year old son.
I have not bought a scope for my 6.5 Creedmoor I will be doing handloads once I sight it in.
Awesome kid. Always glad to see the kids getting it done. Good job. Look into NM for Brocks future and Ill help you out. I also have a young son who's had lots of surgeries..
I’m not sure if Brock’s dad puts him in for NM but I’m sure he’ll see this comments. I always put my son who is the same age as Brock in for NM but he hasn’t drawn anything yet. We always put him in for the hard to draw youth tags. When he draws one it will be awesome. Hope you son is doing good and able to hunt at some point.
Couldn’t even let him finish shittin lmfao
😂😂😂😂😂😂shot while taking a shit😂😂😂😂😂
Take that broadside shot when he gives it. 😉
Yes it is overrated unless ur hunting th a field the gun sucks in the woods
What difference does the woods make?
Shot the biggest buck of my life in the woods with one
I trust this was done for consumption.
Nah he just pop a squat in the wrong field
Congrats on the two great bucks and all the memories made!
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
Dude I remember that buck when I was hunting in there last year! He was in that exact same spot too. I was close to pulling the trigger on him but I passed.
I’ve never been very good about passing antelope. I typically kill one on opening day. 😂
Nice job boys!
😁 thanks Tracee!
Thanks for wasting my time.
Do you ever have an issue with humidity or condensation?
Nope, I have never had any issues. If anything it seems to be to dry. I also live in the high desert of Wyoming with very low humidity anyway.
@@NickW.H. thank you for your response. I've built a 4x4x8 and am in PA. We'll see how it goes this fall.
Let me know how it works. I get asked about humidity a lot and would like to know if people have problems in more humid states.
and this, dear fellow bow hunters, is EXACTLY why you try the blind out BEFORE you take it out into the field....learned that the hard way also...
What size cooler room do you need for a moose?
Mine is 4’X6’ and it would hold a moose just fine. It would need to be quartered of course. I’ve had 1 elk and 2 good sized mule deer in there all at the same time.
Thanks for the info I've decided to go 5x5 and I have a refrigeration unit that works fine from a cooler that was not usable anymore that I plan on installing
Instead of uni strut you could use barn door rails. There meant for vertical load and they sell different kinds of rollers so you can move the meat around easier.
They specifically make rollers and trolleys for unistrut and they are also easy enough to make using bearings and plate steel. Way more affordable that barn door hardware. He just didn't do any research.
Congratulations what caliber is Brock using
Good ole .270
@@NickW.H. great Brock did a great job carrying the rifle and shooting. The little guy was great.
