Appreciated hearing about the experience and technique of this amazingly talented artist! I lived in Doylestown as a teenager and young adult and this brought back many wonderful memories - like Dilly’s Corner! Thank you all, great interview.

What a great glimpse into the mind of the artist. The chuckle at the end is a nice touch, allowing us to wonder what inspired the laughter.

I had a great time during my visit to the Michener Art Museum this past weekend. Not to jump on the Sotter bandwagon, but his paintings really are some favorites of mine. There's something special and soothing about the subject matter and color pallets of his winter night scenes. His painting, Buckingham Mountain, with its wide sky and expansive, rolling clouds was particularly striking/stirring. I really loved the color and expression of Lois Sloan's Maurice River as well, but the collection of local artists and scenery as a whole was beautifully curated.

I love the way she paints - it is an imperfect rapidly-changing thought-image like a fleeting travelling mist.

It was nice to meet you at the Mill. Great use of light. I'm drawing the Cutalossa Road Mill in Mew Hope area. Plan to borrow your background technique. Its simplified but allows the viewer to connect. Love your work
