Twin Latter-day Saints

Twin Latter-day Saints

Welcome to Twin Mormons. We're more than just a chat group. We foster in it the same spirit that we enjoy in the temple and during the Sacrament.

It's impressive how well we LDS from around the world connect with each other. This is because as we each leave our own parts of the world to become more like Christ, we also become more like each other. He prayed in Gethsemane that his believers would become one -- and then gave us a gospel and a Church that brings us to become so. We call each other "brother" and "sister" in the Church but it's like we become more than that, like we become twins: Twin Mormons.

This group began to connect Mormons in Africa and the US but has grown to have members in more than 60 countries and local Administrators around the world.

I so admire my black brother sisters and their faith. From the original ones who came across the planes to the members in my congregation. Who put God and their testimony of this being the restored gospel first. They are my heroes! I love and admire them!

I was 22 when this was aired. 2 years later, I joined the church. I love watching older video before I joined the church. I still feel the spirit of the Lord. Wasn't sister Hinckley a character??

Can’t believe I was just 9 years old when this video was being broadcasted. Here I am now, 34 years old with 2 lovely daughters of mine. I am so grateful for this video. This restored gospel gives me so much comfort as a mother.

Imagine knowing something in the LDS Church that nobody knows about includeing all of the Prophets since Joseph Smith's time building the gospel. Imagine knowing something soo great that the priceless presense of it is inside your body and you can only understand it's presense being inside of you that you cannot even bare it's glory because of it's greatness. Very few people on earth can feel this beautiful aura of strong loven repeatedly feeling it or it talking to you spiritually inside your body. What can you describe of it and make it into? Just what is it truely and why the Heavenly Father lets you feel it strongly inside of you. Soo has everyone else in the LDS Church felt these things inside their bodies besides me? It's more than just the spirit of the Master it is the presense of the Master himself inside your body. Soo in reguard to feeling these things why has the LDS Church never spoken of them or their presense? I know I cannot be the only LDS Member on earth that can feel these things. Do you know anyone that feels such a strong presense of our Heavenly King inside their bodies? This is the question that I am begging other members of the LDS Church to tell me because nearly every LDS Member that I have ever talked to about this has said the same thing about it. No. They didn't know it existed and they cannot feel the true presense of God inside their body. Soo why can I feel these things and why has no one else spoken about them before?

The worst thing Brothers and Sisters about this beautiful gift that I poesess is it's soo precious and loveing. I want everyone to feel these beautiful precious things because of their beauty. In fact I want the whole world to feel these things because of their beautiful presense inside of me. Look you must believe me. The spiritual world is here on earth and we have the gifts and the knowledge to tap into it and to feel the presense of God on and inside our bodies. He is there just waiting for us to call upon him out of True Love and precious desire.

Mr President Gordon B. Hinckley 15th served 1995 = 2008. In April 2002, Gordon B. Hinckley gave a general conference talk entitled, we look to Christ. His talk describes the origin of the faith and knowledge of Christ for Mormons... Hinckley explains that Mormons do not believe in the Christ of Christianity or the traditional Christ.. ==================== It is clear from the talk we look to Christ, that Gordon B. Hinckley does not believe in the Christ of the Bible, Hinckley believes in and preaches another Christ, the Christ that Joseph Smith taught.. ===================== Do you think that a prophet of God would lead you to or away from the Christ of the Bible. ======================================================================== Gordon B. Hinckley said the validity of this work finds its roots in the first vision, if the first vision did not occur, then we are involved in a great sham, it is that simple. Teaching of Gordon B. Hinckley... ==============================

As an African LDS man, I no longer struggle with the anti-black behaviors exhibited by fellow ignorant brothers and sisters done consciously or unconsciously. Once you uncover the true history of the black race and the historical formation of anti-blackness, you will no longer live in the imaginative mind of white supremacists. The battle is inward and never outward. Take hold of your destiny and f$#_ these racists.

There were members in the 1960s trying to get church leaders to stop teaching racism but were later excommunicated for giving priesthood to black people. The church has always been behind.

I left the church because I was not impressed what I saw. Two couples divorced and I know another couple where the husband tells his wife to shut up and gets mad at her for the smallest reasons. I realized mormons are not happy people
