It's important we start to notice when we begin to breathe through our mouth. Instead of our noses. We're breathing in a way that signals to body we're in a stressful situation and need lots of oxygen. Nose breathing allows you to breathe in a more powerful and beneficial way for your overall wellbeing.

Ok so I tried to make my lungs move down 5 or more cm whilst breathing through my nose slowly but in the end I feel out of breath and take a deep breath through my mouth to feel better. Yes! I know, I know. I am a mouth breather. I am consciously trying to change that. 😊

Im asthmatic and terrible at breathing deeply 😂🙈 but i sing so i should totally take more care of it 😅
Some of the functional breathing exercises could change the severity of your asthma in a couple of weeks.
@@InfluentialBreathwork good to know.. thankfully it's only a problem when I have a cold and it turns chesty. Will definitely take a look for my tool box, thank you 🙂

14:23 I’m really looking forwards to learning more! I’ve noticed since my episode with Covid last Autumn and then a bad does of the flu in January that my VO2 measurement has dropped significantly. So I need to do something in addition to my cardio exercise to try and get back to where I used to be. Definitely subscribed and will be seeking more practical knowledge for my personal wellbeing.
