Hi, I was wondering if you could help, I would really appreciate, do you have a copy of another episode of Going Live 14th March 1992 , I appeared on Going Live through a phone in competition and played Feed the Dog computer game , I won a ghettoblaster. I watched both BP and Magpie. Depended on what the subject matter was. I can remember that comment about Marc Bolan. Both much better than today's children's TV. Better than one or two adult shows.

My friend worked for a children's publishing company in London 30 years ago. One day, Brian Cant visited to have a meeting about some kids' book. As he walked through the big open plan office, he was chatting informally with the people who were hosting the meeting. My friend told me that one by one, people of a certain age pricked up their ears and starting looking like meercats! Half-standing up, looking to see where that oh-so familiar and comforting voice was coming from. Huge smiles. I absolutely loved Play Away. Treated kids as if they were intelligent, could do and make things, and could think beyond slapstick.

Got the entire series and the sequil on DVD. Just started season 11 (When Victoria Principle left). My husband is hooked - even misses hockey on Sunday nights because that's our "Dallas night". And that's saying a lot because he used to play hockey and it's "his sport". But he won't miss Dallas night! LOL - 2 episodes every Sunday. He had never watched it when it was running.
