Palmahim. It's about 40-50 miles south of Haifa, right on the coast. It's gorgeous, isn't it?

really good stuff man im surprised at how smooth everything is, DCS gameplay can get really disorienting sometimes but you killed it! well done keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words! I have a decent system, that seems to run DCS well enough most of the time, at 4k, DLSS Quality, and Max settings. 5800x3D RTX4090 64GB DDR4 3600 NVMe SSDs

Thanks for the offer! I am considering stepping into the online servers and finding a squad. I still don't even have a proper headset with mic yet. But that's coming soon!

Good stuff dude. Long time hornet flyer myself. 100% my fav mod and my true home. I have lots of immersive missions I made of you ever wanna hook up. HMU 🤙🏻

Thanks for the kind words, friend. I may take you up on that some time. There's just still so many great missions and campaigns I need to fly. lol Up until now, I've primarily flown my own custom missions to train myself on the various systems and weapons.

I don't use Opentrack. Sorry. Just regular old TrackIR. The key, I've found, is having smoothness set to max. Keeps the image good and stable.

Glad you enjoyed it. I'm into my 2nd year learning the F/A-18C. So far, it's the only jet I've spent time in, despite buying the F-16 and A-10 on day one of getting into DCS. There's just so much to learn and master, and I've taken my time with the fundamentals. Only now am I getting serious about considering going online for multiplayer. Still have never done so. I've simply put in countless hours of singleplayer training. :)

can you explain what happened when you touched the deck

I ran out of fuel and the Hornet died just before my wheels touched deck. lol You can see my fuel gage at the bottom there. I was so focused on the landing, I had no idea I was THAT low. I figured I'd land with a good 1000lbs of fuel, or something. Such a shock! :D

Well, this sucks. Looks like the stream died when during this scene when the frames dropped so steeply. I played for another 30 minutes at least.

Wow. I'm so sorry for this. It's unwatchable, isn't it? KZread said it wasn't getting enough video to stream smoothly. Bullshit! It was getting more than enough a few days ago!

That went much, much better. No lag this time. Excellent. I think we're nearly ready.
@PinkyPowers3 жыл бұрын
So yeah. That didn't turn out very well. I think I'm going to change my OBS Studio settings so it does not simultaneously record while streaming. Hopefully that will help. We are dealing with 4k after all. The recording turned out just as bad. Yet my gameplay was butter smooth. I had no idea the stream was lagging so awful.

Did you test any others? Waylens Secure360?
@PinkyPowers5 жыл бұрын
I looked into that one, among many others. But the Waylens didn't seem nearly as good. I nearly went with the Vantrue N2. BlackVue has a super nice setup too.

out of factory these 5.7L Hemi's aren't tuned properly. Every mod & tune you do will wake it up more. Glad the diablo got rid of the sluggish feel, winter is coming man!

I worried this tune would come at a serious MPG cost, but so far, it doesn't seem to be the case.
