Gee just wonderful
Lol, I wonder where you got those instructions from?
Hahah I didnt see this message - and great instructions they are.
The broken hip roof, one of the last assessments before the big group assessment for 2nd year apprentices and then onto advanced roofing 👍🏻 What TAFE you teaching at mate?
'Promosm'
Brilliant thankYou !
Sorry but you'd better use the all saw not just half or less
Now lookup "cost of a pop-filter for my microphone"...
Wo die First auf einen Grad trifft, kommt ein Pfosten drunter und ein unterzug. Diese Konstruktion leitet ja alle Kräfte in die aussenwand!!!! Wie soll das nur halten?🤔🤔🤔👎👎🇩🇪
Thanks Thomas - its a learning activity for students to understand how to pitch a roof.
In Canada on a large roof span it is a good idea to always beef up the hips and valley members when you have multiple rafters framing into them as it can put quite a load on them, especially with snow loads in the valley member.
Thanks rumswest - its a learning video for our students to have an understanding how to pitch roofs. Im guessing snow loads would be a big difference in Canada.
I was going to ask the same thing? Shouldn't there be bracing, or I read online it's called "collar ties"? Because what's to stop it from sagging or collapsing in that spot(where the two different roofs come together) where there is no bracing?
That's great use of AI. How do you get it?
Thanks Twentyonetwo - I am now using Chatgpt and have personal GPT set up similar to this.
'PromoSM' 🤭
In scotland,it would be one person doing this,no joke
Love the idea of filming the progress of the students. I wonder if any of them are still out there making it happen.
We need to be doing this in the uk.. as we are doing timber framing more and more
Pretty cool seeing kids learning actual skills!!
It’s worthy to note that this is basically the same way to do 3-4-5 on concrete, asphalt, drywall etc.
If your using Edge bevel purlin to get the bevel at the bottom, what is the rafter length and span your working with? Is it the length of the common rafter and run of the dormer? I'm American so we don't get trained in using the square for bevels.
Love your videos. Only just stumbled across the page. Great content!!! Keep them coming!
Reinforcing design and why reinforcing is important should be part of the course.
if you're getting steel galvanised be aware that this process alone can take weeks if there is a backlog at the galvanisers.
Shit video. More blokey than informative.
I did my apprenticeship here too I’m currently in Spain building a pine floor out of a tree I cut down, weathered, milled and installed using only joinery so no nail, screws or bolts. And this was possible because I learned at Tafe and paid attention to all my teachers Paul, Mark, Dennis thank you
Thanks for the information.
Where your in Wollongong

I'm a chippy in NZ, I wish I could learn this here

Explained so well! Thank you. I’m working on cash books for a course and you explained it easier than the course material 😊
a great site is *oneBIZopp . com* . it will enable you to produce dollars Smooth and stable.
A very simple explanation. Well done.
Joists 600mm centre; pity it ain’t compliant in Australia
Wrong. There's values for 600mm spaced joists in the span tables. Might want to check it facts mate
Well explained :)
When you place the bearers on the scaffolding heads , you can hold them in the middle with wooden skewers on both sides , and create better stability in the formwork . And the columns need more wooden clamps around when you use a vibration tool the will bulging . The pay good attention on safety !
Very helpful!
Hi Mr. We want to recommend "PVC formwork", a new type of plastic formwork to replace plywood panel, can re-use over 100times, 100% waterproof, B2 flameproof, smooth surface, 100% recyclable, etc. Would you love to try? You can check our KZread to see the videos. Shandong Jingfang Import and Export Co. , Ltd. Ms. Grapho Wu Email: [email protected] Cel: +86 17806112299 Web: www.sdjingfang.com

Hey Bro, I've just recently subscribed and find a lot of your research extremely useful. I'm actually going to build a house in Rarotonga(homeland) and I'm trying to get as much information on everything and anything. Keep up the good work
GREAT EXPLANATION to it's simplest. Thank you
Well done mate.. thanks for the explanation and mad it very easy.
Please let me know how to lodge yearly income tax too... really appreciated!!!
Awesome video..... I really like your videos kzread.info/dash/bejne/kXeLmpifm8bfgs4.html
I love the training environment. For video purposes, couldn't make out most words, the kid seemed like he forgot everything when the camera was on him, & ten minutes before shop closes, when everything's quite, is when you video your YT instructions. Otherwise, thanks for the vid.
Your channel is a great idea - happy to have stumbled across it. Good luck!
Thank you so very, very much. I am challenged when it comes to maths, and doing these BAS Statement lodgements, but you made it so easy-peasy. I have saved your KZread video to use again at the end of NEXT Financial Year. God bless you mate. You have saved my bacon, and my money, because accountants can be expensive!!!
