I would like to mention again I post the good, the bad and the ugly in music form. You may not like something I post but someone else may. The people who like something you or I may not might stick around and find something we DO like and expand their musical interest. Thank you all for being here -CK45
If you have any records you would like to see featured here and shared with the world or would like to contribute in some other way please email: [email protected]
There was so much music never converted to cd and my goal is to archive as much lost music as possible. The artists, composers, producers deserve it! Thank you - Country King 45

What a classic! Hope you're doing well Paul.
Ah ha! I finally found it! This is the "other side" (B-side?) to "The Rodeo Song". Teriffic in its own right but probably a lot less known, unless you went and bought the 45.
This song really speaks the truth, especially in today’s world.
Yeah, but Aaron Allen wrote it!
As Always, So Awesome!
I remember seeing him live in Wichita when I was about 5 years ... I am lying I was 19 or better... but this record I can barely hear... TURN IT UP!!
I remember seeing Mr Ballard playing at a place on Hydraulic in Wichita called Bogarts and then later it was the Night Owl.. At one point he broke a string and replaced it while performing the song...

this song only went to #61 on the country charts in 1979!!!
I’ve been looking for this song for decades! 🙌 yes!!!
My favorite Carl Smith song
❤
That was way before Brooks & Dunn became. This was the early 1980’s
This is great. I've looked high and low for this Haggard version (without Janssen's badly outdated narration). I could have sworn I saw a Centennial miniseries LP soundtrack in a record store in 1979, but I must have imagined it as I've been unable to locate a copy since. Thank you!
My grandma knows and was friends with him
Does anyone have tabs for this song?
My dad would love to hear me play this
Great singer love 💗 his music
Please can you upload 3 songs of the same album : _ I Gotta Get Back To You _ Julie (Do I Ever Cross Your Mind?) _ California Christmas Thank for loading those 3 missing songs
Just discovered this great upload by Stu Phillips. Could you do the flip "Another Way To Say Goodbye" as well?
Beloved songs by Jimmy that will never fade.........God Blss Him and His Family
Brilliant and lovely thanks orion
Yes!
It was the B-Side of Good Time Charlie Got The Blues, which was a minor hit for Leon in 1984. Got Time Charlie was taken from the album Solid State which was planned as a comeback album for Leon Russell but unfortunately didnt really take off. The song thankfully presented here was a non album track. Tom Jones covered two songs from that album but also with not much Impact on the charts. So far this album is the only Leon Russell never released on CD so far.
🤘 🔥!!
When you said in the description that this was a lost song, I didn't believe at first. But when I looked for it online up and down, this is the only place it exists. You are doing the lords work and have earned a fan!
so sad a bleep was added, when it wasn't needed.
Was wondering if you had the single by him? A: Yesterday Will Come Again Tonight B: I'll Be Around (In All The Old Places) ty
Was wondering if you had the single by him People Gonna Turn You Off.
We need more music like this
He is one of the best country singers I ever heard ❤
I am BIG fan of Miss Fargo. While she was teaching English in Covina, California, I was growing up in the neighboring town of Azusa. So close yet so far away.
this song only went to #47 on the country charts in 1970!!!
This song used to be played on the local radio station back in 1980 as background music to a particular feature in the programming. I was enthralled by the song. I finally called the station up to find out what it was. I promptly went out and bought the album, A Bluegrass Concerto by the Osborne Brothers. Still just as enthralling to me as it always was.
It must be I have always loved you Just never knew where I would find you You've always been the one, Babe Now that I've found you I can't remember ever, never lovin' you There may have been someone before you But I can't recall because she wasn't more you It's either you or none, Babe Now that we're one I can't imagine ever, never lovin' you I always knew how much I loved you But up 'til now I didn't know you How could I show you There may have been someone before you But I can't remember ever never lovin' you I can't remember ever, never lovin' you I always knew how much I loved you But up 'til now I didn't know you How could I show you There may have been someone before you But I can't remember ever never lovin' you I can't imagine ever, never lovin' you
Thank you for this. ❤
I have this Album on Cassette. Not sure there was ever a CD released? This was basically before CD's. The song is honestly more Shenna Easton sounding than it is Holly Dunn, but I loved her too. Very Pop sounding for Holly, but still a great song. All her albums were excellent, and they let so many great songs go unreleased. Thanks much for the upload.
Love this country king 👑 song ayeeeeeee 🤣🤣☀️
Like roy orbinish
Bonnie is now an ordained minister!!
Love David
What a song... I should've commented months ago, but anyway, this is a great classic -- with a nice twist!!
So glad to find this recording! Thank you!
I love david. So much talent.
I'd like to hear big big world by dick woods mountain records of Colorado
Great upload. Could do the flip "Identity" as well?
Back in the 80s I took recording lessons at Josh Noland Music in Pompano Beach, Florida. Is this recording from that same great teacher?
always loved this song. Never understood why it was not a hit, or covered by another county artist. Great movie too!
Beautiful melody.
