  Im so late to this lets play series. I've been using your lets play as a "build with me." I've started a new game. Same everything and trying to mimic how you have set up everything. Normally, i dont start with just 2 people... someone usually dies much too early, and then it's game over for me. Lol. But so far, I've managed to keep everyone alive and growing. I was hoping to see some newer lets plays of yours playing Banished, im not sure if life just got busy for you, but i do hope to see a new series out soon. Maybe a build with me series. That would be fun (for me, at least). Because you build on a grid of 18 x 18 its much easier to follow that other people who play banished. They dont specify the length of the roads and placement of buildings. You do, and that made it so much easier to follow along. Thank you for the videos.

  Thank you for answering my previous question. If you don’t mind another one here it is. I have watched a video on how to download Megamod 9 on a Steam purchased version of Banished. I have a GOG purchased version. Can you tell me how to download the mod to my game since the files where the mod is dropped to must be different from the Steam files? Thank you in advance.

  Sorry but I am confused. Are you playing with mods or did Banished received incredible upgrades since 2014? I have my original game bought from GOG and I played it again a couple of months back and my game version does not have all the buildings to select from as you do, as an example. I still love the relaxed simplicity of the original Banished but your version looks like it is on steroids with better choices. Please clarify.

  @@reinoldwalser8501 Yes, this is a gameplay with the latest version of 'Megamod 9'. It is a great expansion to the game as it greatly increases the building options in the game and it is freely accessible online should you be interested to play it. Does this answer your question?

  That would make for a good alternative, yes. With that said I am trying to gauge how overpowered thatch>firewood is. This is purely as a trial tho as we are not tryharding this playthrough! Thank you for the comment!

  Just for information.. the power flattened tool have 2 ways One you remove all resources and do get them and the other takes time just like when they clear cut an area and you get all materials and they flatten it as well Firewood… You have people in tents so you are wasting a lot of firewood and your population are growing very slow too 😁😁

  You're legendary man, your playthroughs are really relaxing to watch. Have you ever considered playing Settlement Survival? it's quite close to Banished in style, but of course no MegaMods :D

  I never found out but do you choose yourself to make the clips that short. Or is it a limitation in youtube because of lack of subscribers or viewers? Well i call it short because i can watch for hours at a time.

  Are you referring to the 30 minute length per episode? I started casting videos at 30 minutes because it allowed me to do 1 or 2 things per video. This way I could explain matters in small bitesize pieces and go through topics one by one.

  @@cowabunganl7042 yes I refer to the 30 min or so. But it is as I thought. And by the way, I know you go through the things step by step systematically and usually don't missing any part of it. Hahaha. And I love it that way despite it can be a bit heavy when it's thing who already are known... For me at least. I know you like micromanagement with mouse steps in syrup. Hahaha😊

  I read somewhere that both wooden and stone tools last the same time. Being that stone is more difficult to obtain (as it is scarce) I was thinking to use wooden tools until we can trade for better ones. I am really looking forward to upgrading them tho. Are you enjoying the content?

  @@cowabunganl7042 yes I am. Plus stone tools will last longer then wood tools so you don't need to make as much of them I think.

  @@StevenHodnett-dy3by True! Leather will allow for the production of clothes really quickly, I have tried it many times and it works great. In this playthrough I have something else in mind that I have never tried before and I am really excited to try it out. Stay tuned for the later episodes.

  Thank you for the comment! I was thinking to skip the hunter altogether. I chose the gatherer because we need food as soon as possible, it is a proven quantity, easy to build and provides two food groups (fruits and vegetables). However moving forward I'd like to explore other options that I have never used before. Are you enjoying the content?

  Hi all, this episode will have to be the last one of the season. Unfortunately, I have had to change/exclude a number of mods that I had been using and reconfiguring the settings caused the game become unstable. This has led to tractors not driving, Courseplay being corrupted, etc. This has resulted in the videos being about fixing the mods and reacting to other unexpected behaviors. All in all, I have had a great time playing this game for an awesome audience that I very much treasure! Thank you for watching the content and in the future I might be back to casting other videos if time allows. Perhaps I might dust off the good ole Banished if there is any interest in that!

  Hi and thank you for the comment! The mod is called "Automatic water for animals and greenhouses". This mod can be downloaded from the ingame menu.

  The map is a mod called No Man's Land. I also added the lumberjack/superstrength mod and have added some vehicles and equipment. Does that answer your question or do you want an overview of every mod specifically?

  I played this mod a bit and it's a bit annoying when trying to find a specific building and some buildings will not assign workers or use resources that are available. Overall it's a nice compilation of mods regardless that it's heavy on the game when starting it. It takes long to launch!

  very large map size and spring valley isnt really the hardest difficulty settings, in fact those are the easiest for those options - so not sure why half the options are the hardest and half are the easiest : P you say to test the perfect strategy against the perfect hardest difficulty but when you start you have no rivers, mountains, hills etc to contend and deal with on the fly - only flat ground for miles around you lol
