Using that small chainsaw is dumb.
@@steveschlackman4503 I was Hot and tired, and buried in limbs, it's an arbor saw and it did what I needed it to do. Only someone who never works in the woods would think it's dumb.
@@Twobrothersoutdoors Ok I'm a fool. It looked strange to me.
@@steveschlackman4503 you're not a fool, it's hard to access the situation in a short. On our long form videos we would explain. 👍
Cute saw
@@bucktalesoutdoors7566 it's super light, and seems to run really well. Just not meant to buck logs 🤷😉
Nice hemlock stick
Hemlock can be the best or the worst 🤷
Oooooooo, nice boards.
Good for siding. With shake's no good for lumber. It did make some pretty boards. Sorry for the late response, been working on the mill all day.
Good yield from that log! How was running Tim's Oscar? I was surprised he let you use it. :>)
Tim's Oscar Is a nice mill. Not much different than mine since I basically built it into an Oscar 330. Tim trust's me not to dent the track or something 😉
great video. It is very hard to give up on a log but every once in a while you get a log that makes you work hard for nothing.
@@BryanHorn-nf7ib so true. That's when it gets frustrating
youtube and facebook are easy. x can be a pain.
@@chrissheathewoodguy we have 10k + followers on X. Trying to get the most out of our lives
@@Twobrothersoutdoors x never got many followers for me. Instagram either. Now tiktok does help me gain followers. Woodworking is very popular on there.
Really nice, I have a pond dig coming up, that the has some nice maple I gotta clear. Looking forward to milling it.
@@ajpsawmill4314 nothing smells better than hard maple on the mill. An such beautiful wood
Good job you guys I’m watching it this morning and it’s playing great on my end. I like the setup.
@@MsdMakingSawDust it went well for a while, then it went to crap
Nice work Rick, where’s Tims mask 😷 ?
@@HedgehogLodge-Dale he forgot it on the first few passes. He put it on after about the second pass. Old habits 🤷
Dueling sawmills ? Nice looking boards at the end.
@@bucktalesoutdoors7566 beautiful wood! Make a beautiful sign for your new business 😉
This is exactly how I start the charcoal grill. First, I hit it with a propane torch in a few spots around the pile of charcoal, then I hit it with my Dewalt blower for 2 to 3 minutes. It's much faster than letting charcoal lighter fluid burn off. Most importantly, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than repeatedly buying charcoal lighter fluid.
@@srbontrager ya gotta love the small battery operated leaf blowers 🙂
I just use a charcoal chimney and a few pieces of the charcoal bag and I don't have to waste 5 minutes of my life with a propane torch and blower. Be smarter.
@ajk374 "Be smarter". How about you direct that back at yourself there, bud. I used to use those chimney things. Those take much longer than using a blower. Besides, after a few months, they are rusted apart and unusable.
The tech thing was universal. Good job despite the circumstances. Thanks for working through it. Similar problems in the catskillls.
@@BrettMarsden-h7u it's pretty frustrating. We pay monthly for the privilege to stream on multiple platforms and this happens.

Fort Rickey as in Fort Rickey game farm out by Rome, but you might get a school bus stop by on occasion for a field trip 🤣 Oops, has nothing to do with Hud-son...I'll think more.
