Just an outdoors loving guy hailing from the northeastern United States. I’ve got outdoor hobbies for all seasons, from off-roading to snowmobiling. As well as indoor hobbies including rc rock crawling and model kit building. So come along with me and see what the beautiful state of maine has to offer.

Love the video great work!!
Всем привет я владею фордом L8000
Hey man, I installed that same servo but it’s rubbing the sides of the chassis. How did you get it to fit without binding up with the chassis?
It is a tight fit, I’ve had to bend the front of the chassis rails out (or outright cut them off) on a few of my rigs to clear it.
Thank you
This is my favorite build I've seen.I was a Dodge man before it was cool.
in lyman maine theres heemans they have almost endless trails
I need to get the ranger back on her feet and go with ya on some of these adventures
Yeah you do!
Nice sounding ford! What kind of transmission do you have? 10 speed?
It’s an 8LL overdrive.
Cool course!!
That is sick. I just posted a video today of my somewhat completed second GEN dodge ram SCX 24 build
Very cool course, great work man. New sub!
Need those flares. When will they be for sale?
The STL files are available on my Cults 3D page. No longer producing printed kits.
Hi, super low Budget course.
I wish someone would build a basic sled again.
How cool it would have been to have got that truck when it was brand new! What a treat!
Hey im selling mine but no clue wht thr worth can u help me plz? Have 2 One runs one for parts 1:09
There’s a lot of variables. Really depends on where you’re from and what condition they’re in overall. Decent rideable condition like this one I see them around here for anywhere from $400-$1000 depending on condition of seat, hood, track, etc. I’m perfect all original condition I’ve seen them listed as high as $2500. You may be better off trying to sell them as a package, typically I don’t see many parts sleds going for any more than $300, and it may be worth more than that on individual parts of you part it out yourself. If you’re on Facebook check marketplace for similar sleds in your area to get a better idea.
Great job my friend.
This is absolutely amazing bro 🙌, what scale is your crawler ?
Axial SCX24s. They’re advertised at 1/24 but much closer to 1/20.
Oh it’s got a Roadranger 8LL dump truck transmission that’s like a 9 speed overdrive, with a Lo-Lo gear that’s activated by flipping the blue button on the shift knob. An 18 speed is the other great dump truck transmission. The LS/LTS 9000s were available with the Cat 3406 a and b. The 425hp Cat 3406b was only available in the LTL9000 and LTLA9000 series. The Cat 3406b was a favourite spec of owner operators, and then the 12.7L Detroit Series 60 took over that mantle in the ‘90s.
Is that a 3406b in an LNT-9000? Ford never sold LNT9000s with Cat 3406a or b blocks. They only installed the 3406a an b blocks in L9000s, LNT9000s, LTL9000s and LTLA9000s. There wasn’t enough under hood space for a 3406 in the short nose LN9000 series.
It is a 3406B 350hp. The dog house is huge for it to fit. As far as I know the engine is original to the truck.
This truck is in fact a LNT 9000. Factory 3406 cat, 8LL Transmission. Also factory a/c.
Thats a Ford id Be Proud to Drive
BIG CAT 💪🚜🇺🇸 SOUND IS MUSIC 🎶 TO MY EARS ,,, EXCELLENT SHIFTING BY THE WAY, BEEN SO LONG 4 ME, I'D BE A LITTLE RUSTY AT FIRST...A B OR C HAD A C WITH AN ELECTRONIC THROTTLE ON THE INJECTION PUMP, 89' PETERBILT IT WAS IN . AROUND 15 LITRES DISPLACEMENT AND 425 HP MOST OF THEM... SOLID ENGINE
How did you make that bridge move??
The dowels are drilled in the center and mounted on a metal coat hanger rod. Works very well
B model?
Sure is
Hey man Is there anyway I can get up with you I’m puting a 5ek in a ln9000 and I have a question for you
@@cameronfields2960 to be honest I don’t really know anything about the old girls. This one is a friend of mine’s truck.
Ok sounds good thank you anyways just try to get some part numbers
Mabye re-duck it? No point in getting rid of it. Give it to a kid?
This exactly what I plan on doing with mine! Get it good enough for the trails and get around the cabin
thanks for posting this.
nice very nice
Mabey be more jolly instead your s money wasting live by yourself no wife guy so if I don’t like being a Jeeper then Mabey don’t own a jeep
It’s a joke, lighten up. I’ve been around Jeeps since I was born and have met some amazing people in the world of off-roading in general. I just don’t understand these pointless little fads that in the end only add to the massive amounts of plastic waste already out there. Being a jeeper has nothing to do with ducks, and never did. At least not until a year or two ago.
Well first of all no and secondly just enjoy the fun because it sounds like u need it don’t waste people’s money they spent to duck you they are just trying to have fun
I know everyone here has a safari also 😂
All you guys put out Great videos but why can’t anyone have a full picture of your projects instead of closeups.
Wow!! Great job on your course!! I like your creativity for sure for the crawlers 👍
My Safari don’t move like that 😂
She’s a good running old girl for sure.
How is that thing doing wheelies I’ve been trying to get mine to pop up
Loosen or remove the front limit strap is the secret.
Got a3406 8speed in my Ford 9000 haul wood with it double low hole does good
Where can i find this kit at?
Unfortunately the printed kit is no longer available, however the STL files are available on my Cults3D page so you can print your own in any material. tr.ee/fYTkrIrAzx
@@adventure2073 bummer I don't have a 3d printer... thanks anyways!!
No way you'd be willing to print another kit? I'd cover file cost and shipping
Unfortunately I just don’t have the time to do any printing right now with everything else going on. My printers haven’t even been operational in months.
That’s what I’m saying is this some type of marketing to get women into vehicle’s?😂😂😂😂
Goob 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 found ur KZread
Nice
Great video!
Great video, just wish the camera was slightly higher, as to see out of the windshield better.
Great video!
O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 There’s not much like a Cat coming alive, especially in the winter. I come from a trucking family & we’ve owned many trucks through the years…Detroit, Cummins, Cat & even gas powered. We’ve had great luck with Cat & Series 60 Detroits & I love their sounds. I’m not sure I’ve even seen the Walking Floor in action before. Quite interesting. Nice old Ford! Great body style those L9000 rigs. Ford sure made some beautiful trucks back in the day! Good stuff. Thanks for the ride along. Sure enjoyed it! 💥🥰✌️
Better show it off when it’s done!
Looks great!
Nice!
That’s a beautiful trail, I’d love to find a place like that ❤, how do you like the UTB18?
Worth every penny! Very impressed with it even 100% stock. All it really needs to be over the top is a little more weight down low. I’ve got some big upgrades on the way for it though, gonna be a really cool and fun build.
@@adventure2073 6x6 would be fun there.
unreal !ciao! :))
That rig is pretty loud for a brushless setup!
Tell me about it. Runs good though so I’m gonna send it till it’s dead.
@@adventure2073 might wanna check the mesh between pinion and spur gear. Or upgrade to a metal trans.
@@seniorxj2931 mesh is fine, just a noisy motor.
