    As a convert to the Catholic faith I have found the Rosary 📿 to be an added benefit & blessing in my prayer life. If I am being totally honest , the Marion prayers were the most difficult to say. It was only when I looked at the holy mother in a different light did I understand the power of this magnificent form of meditation/prayer. One of the later meditation forms of prayer is saying the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. There are only a limited few Hail Marys. This form of contemplation is said on regular Rosary beads with the "Divine Mercy " being at the front of one's prayers. It is usually said at three am/pm. If you have. It speaks to the soul that needs God's intervention for one's self and for the loss of souls around the globe. This devotion, while being sung, adds a lovely and unique element for personal reflection. If you have EWTN, it will be sung/prayed on every day at that time. I personally love the melody for the weekend. However, you could probably Utube the W-end edition for free. I hope that it will bless & strengthen your love for the blessed Trinity!!! Amen........

    Hi Vivian try reading Way of the rose by Perdita Finn and Clark Strand. Great book on the rosary. Not Catholic. Talks about origins and some great stories of their relationship with Mary.

    i wish i had a source of manure like you do. when i bought my home just a little over 3 years ago, it was springtime & i was excited to be able to have a garden. i had been living in a major metro area in a townhouse development with no outside responsibilities along with no gardening abilities either. needless to say i didn't have access to any compost either so i took advantage of the yard waste compost at the municipal landfill and at the time it was $5 ton. can't beat that. well i brought home grazon. city denied my claims, it ruined the established rose bushes that were here and nearly took out some old growth trees on my property along with the soil where my exposed raised beds were. roses are a lot cause. trees will be fully recovered by next year, i think. spots where my raised beds were grew fairly normal looking beans & mustard this year after many, many cover crops developing green manure. since then, i've been gardening in grow bags & lined my raised beds and filled with home made soil. i live 1/2 from a wildlife preserve & sanctuary with a retired hydroelectric dam and i filled my rain barrel and have supplemented it with water from the river and i helped myself to some soil from the preserve that nearly always has mushrooms growing on it. my lined beds & grow bags do phenomenally - usually. the setting sun heat this past august was just too much for my tomato crop and took out about 1/2 on the west end. anyway, i have always used drunk compost to speed up my composting process of which ammonia is a vital part. like you said, lots of information out there and it's a crap shoot what you choose to believe and what you choose not to. i have been adding ammonia to my rain barrel at a rate of about a tsp to a gallon of water. my rain barrel has a gauge and i check it daily to see if i need to run over to the river and get some. as a kid i was an aquarium hobbyist and know the importance of the nitrogen cycle which is really the cycle of life and would use ammonia to start off a new aquarium. at least here there is one more yea vote for ammonia.

    Catholics won’t really approach you for your rosary unless it’s accompanied with actions that contradict the prayer practice. We want to see everyone with a rosary because we understand how beautiful it is. We also use the rosary for other prayers like the chaplets!! There are no rules because it only has to please Mary’s son Jesus:)

    I also experimented with drying whole persimmons this winter. I used 95F and it took 5 days for Fuyus. After some experimenting, I found the texture to be better if they were just dried an hour or two a day after the first day.

    Hi, hey so I got diagnostic with fatty liver last year I took some pills for it and I eat healthy again but sometimes I will eat something not to healthy anyways I just went back in the first week of august and they told me that my liver is in a good condition but at the end they say I have enlarged liver so my question is if fatty liver and enlarged liver is the same thing?

  • @ViviansDIYProjects
    @ViviansDIYProjects2 жыл бұрын

    I am not a medical expert in anything. Per current medical prognosis, once you have fatty liver, it's for life. So I went outside the normal medical field and started self healing by doing what a friend did to cure his fatty liver. An enlarged liver can happen due to different things. Please avoid meds that stress the liver (like acetaminophen) and all alcoholic drinks. Try to fast or intermittent fast to give your liver a chance to rest & heal.

    Apparently people massage the fruit to keep them soft and pliable while drying. Also, they dry brush the outsides to distribute the sugar.

    Agree with your ideas quite a lot but my comments are aimed at this beautiful drive. It must be a terror to drive at night! I’ve had shingles 3 times. On my face, chest and back. Small discoloration and tiny skin peeling but my skin was on fire! I was miserable all 3 times. Absolutely my skin felt like it had been sandblasted with burning, tingling and a cutting/slicing feeling. My back had a big, flat lavender spot which eventually turned a very light tan. Apparently, it’s a scar from the shingles. Btw I had two shingles shots. The old one and new one but still got facial/eye shingles with no scarring, at least.

    Please monitor blood levels of vitamin D with your Dr. I was told to take 5,000 IU daily. I got so tired of it taking forever to raise levels, I doubled the dose. Even though levels are now just a tad over the cutoff point, my Dr made me cut back because he said higher levels can cause kidney issues without you knowing it. Btw, the dumbing down of Americans began way before this pandemic. It’s disgusting how low level aptitude is considered acceptable. Schools and parents aren’t requiring enough of their children. I know some adults that can barely read and write let alone think logically or behave ethically and morally. While I do believe it starts in the home, schools aren’t helping at all. Placating parents is not educating children. All of these ideas used to be anecdotal but frankly now statistics are backing up what we feel about our children’s and grandchildren’s educations. And further, we shouldn’t be afraid of learning from our mistakes, you’re absolutely correct. It’s not failure, it’s learning.
