  The thing I’ve always admired about Rolex is their ability to create perceived value. This Yachtmaster costs them US $1,965 to make, inclusive of material and labour costs, and yet they’re able to sell it for more than five times that because of perceived value. Rolex really know what they’re doing.

  Was laughing reading that you can’t decide between YM rhodium or blue and finally choose the explorer 😂 This is purely a personal choice. Both are great and you will love them. If we speak personal, I prefer the blue one. The match between the dial and the red hand makes it pop more than the rhodium. If we speak about investment then the rhodium seems to win. Will be curious to see what will be your choice. Don’t hesitate to come back and let me know. Thanks a lot for your comment

  The explorer is timeless....the look of the watch generally hasnt changed in fifty years. Discrete...one is proud to wear it. Simple, elegant and visially stimulating....that black dial....aaarrrggghhhhh

That's definitely a personal choice...while I have a preference for the black for its more simple look I would not be against the blue one specially for summer holidays and making trips on boats. The color pops more too. Whatever your choice will be, for sure you will enjoy it. This watch is stunning,

  I bought the blue version with no regrets, some days it seems a very deep blue sea colour then other days its like an electric blue to me. Subtle changes in different light makes it an absolutely stunning watch.
