  Apple doesn’t automatically save your appleID password. If you don’t remember it, it’s usually best to reset it. You can add it manually to your password list if you want.

  After I click on my printer, jumped out a new widow but in there NO "Open scanner" 👈 this button show out for click? Please, does anyone can help? my Mac OS is ventura 13.5.1

  Most likely you need to get a new driver for the printer. Try deleting and re adding it, or check the manufacturer website for a driver.

  The video good but my iPad is doing that and won’t let me do anything cause the open app is frozen and won’t let me exit it and the app works itself but won’t let me exit it I even tried to log out the app as well

  On my iPad 11pro it’s stuck in an open app and it will not let me swop up from the bottoms to close it at all . Like the app is opened and won’t let me exit it at all how do I fix it

  I would like to help anyone who faces some problem when doing the same steps in the video 1. install the app like the video 2. make the passwords and keychain ON, then there is gonna be like blue option called "view in iCloud passwords app" appear 3. click on it, then it will require to set up Windows Hello (if you haven't set up it before ) 4. congratulations, you get the password

  Quick question, please. How do I can the next document without having to close the printers & scanners and start over each time? My scanner "holds" the previous image even when it says it's scanning. The only way I have found is to close everything down and then start with step 1 again.

  It depends on the printer’s capabilities. If you’re scanning to pdfs you should have the checkbox option to combine multiple pages, as I mention in the video. But it’s very easy to combine pdf pages in Preview if you don’t have the option.

  Wow! I searched and searched and found videos that told me I had to update drivers, etc. SO glad I found your video!! So quick and easy to follow your step by step instructions that allowed me to watch the video (only once!) and FINALLY scan to my Macbook. I love the one page summary at the end too. Thanks so much!

  Thanks. Never heard of that shortcut for task manager. I use Windows but my main machine is Ubuntu (Linux). Same shortcut works on it. Another good tip is never select the option to auto restore previous session. Otherwise the bad page will just keep returning. I normally do restore, but I select it manually. Learned that the hard way. Had to uninstall Firefox & lost all history, bookmarks, saved passwords etc.

  You're welcome! You might consider setting up a firefox account so all that data is synchronized to the web (free) and you don’t lose it if you have to uninstall.

  @@computersdotmom Nope. Gonna keep everything local. I now clone regularly on multiple disks for both Windows & Linux. Could have a total system crash & not lose a thing.

  @@johnstafford8488 I hope you never do, but I have had clients lose everything to fire or flooding, so I’m a big believer in having cloud backup IN ADDITION.

  @@computersdotmom Chances of that are still pretty slim. I'm just not all that confident of cloud security. I know you can still get hacked, but I do most my online with Linux. Safer than Windows any day.

  Very nice tutorial. Although I was able to print to my wife's printer/scanner, one of the things that I ran into is that I had older or generic drivers that didn't include the scanning functionality. A quick search on the manufacturer's website netted me more up-to-date drivers with what I needed to now scan.

  Thanks! Probably easiest to scan all of one side, then all of the other, then rearrange the pages in Preview. If you turn on the sidebar, you can just drag them.

  In theory, yes, but depends on the type of computer and your expertise. Much easier in a desktop.

  Might be that you are on a different version of macOS? Older versions, you found the passwords in safari settings, not in the main settings app.
