Bro the entire climb from camp 4 to the peak is a giant bottle neck. The entire climb is hurry up and wait.

I wonder how many people would climb Everest if they could only do it without any photographic documentation whatsoever?

This is simply a picnic on Everest and to save nature as well as the environment it should not be allowed in future. The Himalayas are being badly affected by the ever increasing human intervention.

I have heard quite the contrary about the experience now, it is very straightforward now and no dizzying vertical incline to climb up that people can fall off of. I would say that the Hillary Step's disappearance is actually a boon to climbers as the 2015 Nepal earthquake removed that dangerous pile-up of rocks to be climbed vertically. Only those who love(d) the experience of climbing up the Hillary step or feel that it is an important part of the climbing experience would have a problem with its disappearance. Also, the mountain is a few meters taller now than before the 2015 earthquake.

Nobody can come up with a photo from the same spot? What a load of crap. Why show a photo with boulders numbered, but never show the same view without it? Probably because it's crap.

Thats so incredibly beautiful... i wish i had the money tho to go help clean it up. I would move to Nepal and become a full time person committed solely to cleaning the mess the Western world has largely been responsible for. Im ashamed, even tho ive never been there. I would move in a heartbeat if i could dedicate the rest of my life to cleaning the garbage, not necissarily the bodies, but the garbage from the camps. Someday maybe i will get to help clean the goddess and restore her sanctity.
