Thank you very much for showing us this album. It seems that today, one can still buy vynil and CD. Gamelan is amazingly archaic, powerful, virtuous and complex. Spiritual aspects seem to shine through. The constant shift of tempo, volume, beat, harmonics, color, then again staying for a certain time in a pattern, is amazing. Most music seems to have same vague counting base of 4 or 2.

Definitely agree about 4/4 and 2/4, while they're good for a dancing tune there are so many other possibilities that tend to go unexplored in western music, and I feel like having examples like this shows us the full potential of what music can be Thank ya kindly

hey I think you have the sides in the wrong order. i can't list all the dances, but the latter part includes in this order fast atsiagbekor, agbadza, adzida, slow atsiagbekor, fast agbadza (ageshe?), the first half is Blekete cult music
