Man when you turned that guitar over and had it leaning on the bridge…my heart sank….poor bridge. But hey great video!! I love this guitar I’m really hoping to buy one, very nice review man!!
Guthrie is a fascinating hooman being. I’d imagine all dogs would like him very much for his supreme yet so genuinely humble energy. I’m a 90’s chicagolander guy and grew up on Michael Jordan all over, black Jesus, and Guthrie is one of the few who routinely is dropping me jaws. And like MJ, his shine is in pure pursuit of personal excellence in his playing and craft and art, what an absolute fucking weapon. Transcendence embodied. I’d say he’s an alien but he appeals to the depths of the best of humanity.❤
O.K. Cool Can I have one before that happened?
you dont play them then
Just phenomenal, the best diverse guitarist of all time................amazing Guthrie!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone else looking at getting one? I’m really buzzed about this because I’ve played a modded Mexican teles and strats for years it’s time for a step up. I’m not hugely looking for that strat sound I want something else! And the japs make the best cars and guitars!!!
It’s a cheap Temu bass. That’s why they don’t show the brand.
Definitely not cheap. Brand is on the headstock. Pentasystem
That's so awesome!! Gotta be 100% .....it scares me a Lil to think of lots of ppl touching that absolutely irreplaceable treasure... i love that it's been saved ..
Are the Banana and hockey stick headstock designs identical? Thanks
Magnificent! I rate it Tremendous+
His unbelievable
I always thought Dean and Washburn were el cheapo guitars. Now because of Dime, they are fetching crazy prices.
Absolutely the best
I own one of these. Do you know how many guitars were released ? Gibson can’t answer me.
I have owned around 5 of these and have tried to buy everyone I could find. Unfortunately, I moved the market on Zakk Wylde guitar models across the board when I started buying them all up 7 years ago. My guess is 200 or less were made. There is also the buzzsaw version of this
So funny with people who argue that Guthrie can only shred and not play music. Obviously they don’t know much about music. P.S that B major ending was so satisfying
I was lucky enough about ten years ago to find a 2004 Amber Deluxe hanging on the wall at the local GC. Absolutely mint condition. Not a scratch on it and it looks like nobody ever played it. And mine is SSS, which I prefer.
Nice find!
Sorry, but this video is giving me motion sickness! You can't keep a steady shot for more than 500 milliseconds, and after a while, you can't help but close it... I'm sorry to tell you this, but you should reconsider if you plan to produce videos like this! Yours friendly! 🤟😎
You're welcome!
RIP all of the money for this one.
boycott gibson
The company is under new management at this point thankfully
wow complete DISRESPECT for the TREES and the PEOPLE who LABORED to MAKE THOSE GUITARS. COMPLETE DISRESEPECT TO THE ELECTRONIC DESIGNERS. COMPLETE DISRESEPCT TO THE STRING MANUFACTURES>
BOYCOTT NATIONAL CORPORATIONS !!!!
Gibson has new owners now
wow for the price i would have bought one
Amazing!
Need
You lost me at calling a Charvel an LTD or an Epiphone. Big difference.
At this point in history, Charvel was indeed the Asian import diffusion line of Jackson
Awful camera work and rambling commentary. I have a Saxon, bought second hand in 1979. My favourite neck.
You're welcome!
Great Year for a Strat - 2000, hard to get one because they really nailed it in 2000 with the Tone on these Strat's. If you got one hold on to It because it Rocks and it Rolls killer!
I actually have a collection of brand new, never played 2000-2001 Fender American strats. A woman bought every one she could find in her local guitar shops as an investment
@@EssexRecordingStudios I got a Black and White (tux) 2005 Strat Standard with maple neck, it's stunning and plays awesome through an Orange crush Amp✌️🎸
I believe Karl Sandoval made the Bumblebee for Ed. There is a great picture of Karl with Edward and that Bumblebee. Ed did start doung things to the Bumblebee later, a weird metal pin sticking out of the top of the body to stop the bar from spining around, adding the original Floyd Rose and locking nut, but it was Karl that built the Bumblebee. Absolutely amazing history of these guitars!!!
Ah great info. How wild is this video? I could not believe how amazing this guitar collection was when I arrived
2007 is when that model came out..i played one and the SR4000 companion model when it came on the market at the Australian Ibanez agent office at that time..i preferred the SR4000 mahogany body model
I have the SSS in natural with the rosewood fingerboard. No complaints. My 2018 Pro1 is a sienna burst, so I'm covered there.
Kids in africa would eat those
This is a dumbass video
oldie ...
...but goodie
I have a 1988 Red String Ray in great condition if anyone is interested. In very good all original condition.
Always interested. Send us an email through the official Essex Recording Studios site. Let me know where you're located and the best price you can do
Yes
If this is not some AI generated mad nightmare, then it's totally degenerate and obscene... when I remember that I didn't like bands who destroyed their equipment as part of their show, myself being a youngster jot able to afford a reasonable guitar! And then this...
🤘😎🤘
I think uncle Zakk started with the logo behind
I rate it a Guthrie
I bet it’s made in Korea. I have a 2012 Korean-made 3-pickup LP Custom Black Beauty that I bought brand new in 2013 with an ebony fretboard and it’s awesome! It’s currently with my luthier getting upgraded with Gibson USA 57 Classic pickups and premium Gibson wiring, bone nut, graphite bridge saddles, CTS pots, Orange Drop caps, Switchcraft, fret dress, etc. Yeah!! I’ll play it.
Nice upgrades!
I've got a T-25 and a T-60. The 25 is significantly lighter and has a much thicker neck than the 60's weird toothpick neck. It's a lot more comfortable to play, although it doesn't sound quite as nice and full-bodied as the 60
Great info, thanks!
I agree with your reasoning for using pine bodies. But, you know they are going to add to the price simply because it's not alder. I don't see this guitar as being cheaper in any way. I just checked out my 2023, and it looks like it has a one piece body, for what that's worth. And mine looks incredible with the rosewood fingerboard. I know one of the marketing points on the Pro2 is the rolled fingerboard. But I'm feeling the same degree of roll on my Pro2 as I do on my Pro1 (2018), my American Standard (2015), and my American Deluxe (2006). If you really want to experience a rolled fingerboard, find a 2014 American Vintage '54 Strat. And I enjoyed the video immensely.
Cheers thanks Don!
We will never EVER see another player with the technical abilities of GG. No competition as they say in Music but he far outweighs anybody
While the statement that more is more is completely true, he won't adress his crappy tone and therefore falls short. 😬 He should take lessons from Zakk Wylde or something. Darryl Dimebag would've been a good teacher for this kid. John Sykes maybe? 🤔
More is More!
and this is the government we have doing this, i just came here because i was reminded watching a gtr go in the crusher
This was actually the former owners of Gibson responsible for this decision apparently
Fantastica meravigliosa sono felicissimo per te Grandeeee
I have seen my share of horror movies, but this is the first time I could not keep watching until the end 😱
Undoubtedly the best ever. This guy can play anaything and his creativity is unmatched
“Would you play it?” “It’s a Za-“ “Yes”
WOW
