You can also use 4khz to tell if it’s a bottle cap. For example if the target is 16 in multi and then jumps to around 34 in 4khz most likely it could be a bottle cap

Very true about a precious ring being on a junk chain. I recently found a 925 silver band on a stainless steel chain and a gold ring around lots of shredded cans. Keep digging!

I have many xtremescoops.com bags. One that has a finds pouch inside the original bag or a designated zipper. I HAVE!!! Lost gold from not securing it. Everyone will have a story similar. Be sure to have a special ringclip inside your bag. To each their own. 🙏

I have had my 340 now for about 2 months yes it eats batteries but that's a price i can pay when i get the fun to use it in return. And it goes DEEP i hit a large metal object at about 25 inches it was a fight to dig it. Also it picks up extremely small items at about 2-4 inch like a small nugget and so on
Great comment about the #vanquish340 The technology is now available in most machines and now the manufacturer will compete to see who can flood the market with entry level pricing. Ie Nokta. When you are wanting more I would recommend the 900 or Manticore. I will give you a lesson when ready to purchase 😎
I wil use it a bit more before doing my 2 purchase. Only negative experience whit the 340 is no pinpointer function it should have it even 60-100$ detectors has pinpointer
@AnonymAnonym-fv3uc I NEVER use pinpoint. The response on the 340 is plenty good enough. Listen to the multiple sound. Meaning the different spots that cause the detector to sound off. The coil shape is really conducive to easy centering.

Did you ever post the settings the guy shared with you that transformed your results with the Deus? I know you said you were going to post them, just never saw it. Wondered what happened to you
Going live tomorrow morning.. thank you for watching. My back is still bad but I’m going to give it a shot! The salt Sensitivity is the secret. In the water turn it to 1! Out of the water, play with how high you can turn it up. You should be able to run general sensitivity at 99..
Also, dive mode is a different frequency than low beach or sensitive, so play with your best for the beach you are at.
John, was probably TJ, he passed away some years ago. The best hunter of all time was Richard Rudy, “Mr Gold”. He also passed away but used to hunt full time. He was so tough, he added an extension to his snorkel and would hunt in water over his head. . He used a heavy duty long scoop, used to hop around on it in deep water. He used the Aqua Sound and that sucker was deep in Florida
I tried that once and almost blacked out from sucking so hard to get the air down 2 feet😳
Some guys use weight belts and a snorkel in deep water. I know it’s tough out there, but we used to hold our breath and scoop with a hand held Jimmy Sierra basket
