    So the mountain range is called Bucegi, the peak is called Omu (the man). Malaiesti is an incredible valley, though the cabin itself became quite the party place in the weekends...

    I'm hiking on Durmitor this weekend! great video to get to know the trail a little bit beforehand. One funny thing, back in Mexico we have alot of strays in the mountains, we say that they are the souls of people that sadly passed away there now they take care/guard the hikers on the trails. We say that if a dog follows you on the trail, you will be safe and its seen as lucky

    Hey, really nice video, can u help me planning my upcoming trip to Romania? Did you go by foot in one day from Busteni to Cabana Malaiesti? And then in one day back from Cabana Malaiesti by OmuPeak back to Busteni? And how did u reserve the Cabana Malaiesti?

    Hey thanks :) we did the whole round trip by foot starting in Busteni and ending in Busteni coming back down via Omu. We did one day from Busteni to Cabana Malaiesti and the next day back to Busteni. I can’t remember exactly how we booked but I think we made a phone call.

    Thanks for the comment! Can't say I have too much experience hiking in colder climates. I would say if you plan on staying at the ski lodge as opposed to the hut near the lake, book in advance as I'd imagine the lodge would get a bit busier during ski season. Enjoy your trip!

    What was the cost for this 3 day package trip from the hostel?

  • @gary8306
    @gary83069 ай бұрын

    I did this trip from Shkoder about a month ago. Valbone to Theth hike. I stayed at Guest House Zadeja in Shkoder approx £20 per night. They will also store your main bag for €2 a night while you do the trek. They arranged pick up from their lodgings for the bus and ferry and then bus to Valbone which cost €25, you pay the bus driver. I stayed at Bujtina Selimaj in Valbone £22 including breakfast either to eat at the lodging or they will pack it for you to take and eat on the hike. The coach driver when we got off the ferry asked us all individually where we were staying and dropped us off outside our respective lodgings. Walk to Theth is stunning. Stayed at Bujtina Vellezerit Grrela in Theth £33 with breakfast, and they arranged pick up by (you have to ask)mini bus back to Shkoder for €10. I arranged all the accommodations myself through booking.com, obviously you can find cheaper or more expensive to suit your pocket. Bring snacks from Shkoder, there’s not really much in the way of shops in Valbone or Theth that I could see, but there are a couple of cafes on the hike. I didn’t do the Blue eye or the waterfall due to time constraints. But you would have to stay in Theth another day for that, so obviously factor in another nights accommodation. Hope this helps. Thoroughly recommend, it’s stunning.

    The hostel package only covered transport and that was 2000 leke if I remember correctly. You will have to take extra cash to pay the guest houses

    Hello, May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin.Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
