We cannot change our chronological age, however Our biological age is within our control and can be reversed. Biological age is showing the status of how healthy we are, so how we live matters!!! We can grow older or grow younger. I choose grow younger everyday! The thing is "Why Not?" By Reverse Aging Revolution

I don't see inflammation doing any good. When swelling occurs around an injury, it blocks blood flow. That's why people wrap it up or ice to get rid of that swelling, so the blood can take out waste and bring in healing nutrients, inflammation slows all that down
Thats just wrong. Icing actually slows down regeneration and metabolism, contracts capillaries. Sweeling, and heat means more blood flow. There is a difference between healthy actions of inflammatories and unhealthy ones (chronic inflammation) for most, if not all inflammatory pathways.
@@reinerheiner1148 Well when I ice it or wrap things get better faster same with all major sport teams, if it didn't work they wouldn't do it
What supplements block IL-11???
Fish oil.
@@penmaenmawrdefiant1146 And algae oil which is where fish acquire their nutrients.
I didn't know that Indiana was so crowded.
I understand inflammaging more now, thank you!
The new research on blocking IL-11 implies inflammation is the main root cause of aging. Hopefully counteract this will be a more effective way to fight aging..
If il11 was the main cause of aging, then why did it extend lifespan by only 20 or so %?

What natural plant compounds block inhibition of IL-11? ChatGPT- "Several natural plant compounds have been identified for their potential to inhibit the activity of IL-11, primarily through their anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects. Here are a few notable examples: Curcumin: Found in turmeric, curcumin has strong anti-inflammatory properties and has been shown to modulate several cytokine pathways, including IL-11, by inhibiting NF-κB and other inflammatory signaling pathways (Frontiers) (Frontiers). Resveratrol: This compound, found in grapes and berries, is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. It can inhibit cytokine production and release, affecting pathways that involve IL-11 (SpringerLink) (Frontiers). Baicalin and Baicalein: These flavonoids, derived from the roots of Scutellaria baicalensis (a traditional Chinese herb), have been reported to significantly reduce inflammatory cytokine levels, including IL-11, by modulating the NF-κB signaling pathway (Frontiers) (SpringerLink). Berberine: An alkaloid found in various plants like Berberis, berberine has demonstrated anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. It affects cytokine signaling pathways, including those involving IL-11 (Frontiers) (Frontiers). These natural compounds exhibit their inhibitory effects on IL-11 through various mechanisms, primarily by modulating the inflammatory pathways and cytokine production."

Inhibition of iL-11 will be problematic because it can directly affect the somatic cells and blood cells. Also, this is a crucial cytokine and receptor needed for maintaining fertility.
Thanks!
"...make sure that we are using agents that are safe." HGH is a proven risk... an very high, proven risk. Sure, during the short term of their use, they're fine... but the after affects of HGH is a dramtic increase in susceptibility for mutated cells, and thus, cancer.
But dr.Huberman has said that taurine is harmful.
I've been taking several grams of NMN powder for the past 8 months. I am 70 and for the first time in my life I dream a few minutes after taking a nap in the afternoon or evening. I am doing weights and my muscle growth has never been so fast. Is there any research on this?

I’m 48 and it’s part of my stack. Helped me with energy and IBS personally. 😊
How is this polyphenol any different than say Resvertrol, Pectasol or any other compound in nature with the same anti-inflammatory properties?
The only drawback of NMN supplementation found so far is fibrosis of kidneys in elderly mice. If anti-IL-11 stuff can "undo" kidney fibrosis, us elderly mice can go back to taking NMN without worry.
Tocilizumab (Actemra): This IL-6 receptor inhibitor has been shown to have effects on IL-11 as well. Sarilumab (Kevzara): Another IL-6 receptor inhibitor that may also influence IL-11 levels1. The antibody injection is obviously the best way to do this. This basically the injection of lab made drug (basically proteins) that target IL-11 and nothing else. No side effects.
I am 62 years old. If from time to time I have a long drive then I will need to stop, and have a short nap, but not if the road is unfamiliar to me. Also Now if I do more than a 10 hr day I Need to nap. My body will demand it I work outdoors. If I find rarely that I need to use a computer It is a bit like driving where the lack of whole body tactile input, and a low rate of breathing must raise my blood carbon dioxide levels. My body then demands a nap. Normally I am full of beans. If I am driving I can make do for a while by running one hand or another over different surfaces for the tactile receptor feedback, and sit up as straight as possible. I can see why this study is inconclusive because I think that the lack of environmentally demanding feedback is the main driver of the need for naps outside of the ageing process.
Yea, I dont see this happening anytime soon in a way that the masses could do this on a whim, "just because" although I could certainly see the wealthy doing it "just because"..... although you being directly involved in this research, I could certainly see you using it on your mom, or yourself....even if you never admit it....... as for everybody?, well like I said, maybe for the wealthy, because I don't see insurance paying for this, theyll avoid it as long as possible and I dont see you having the ability to make it cheap enough for the masses, it just doesn;t seem possible.
The end is coming, never trust the scientists, because they are playing with those elements and putting humans life in risk, never trust scientists because their Ideas and inventions ALWAYS come with defects and health problems. No one can be like God. ⏳️🌏🌎🌍⌛️📖⚖️🕎
This "novel agent" is probably just thymus gland extract, and they don't want to say anything because it's readily available...
What natural interventions can one take to reduce IL 11? Diet, etc.!
Il-11 levels increase in response to age related accumulation of iron. It does this to stave off iron loving bacteria. If you block IL-11 you do help with regeneration, but you compromise immunity. It'll work in a lab but not in the real world. Better off lowering age related iron accumulation.
Hello - what is good iron or ferritin level in blood so to prevent high production of it-11? Others saying too iron bad from standpoint of bacteria likes and also is an oxidant. But then need iron in red blood cell for carrying oxygen to all cells. So delicate balance and probably becomes altered with age.
Thiamine is B1.

What about the effects on kidney cancer and post kidney cancer surgery and treatment?
He forgot to tell us about the lifespan of people affected by Craniosynostosis and Dental Anomalies (CRSDA), who don't produce any IL-11 due to a genetic disorder He also greatly diminished the malformations that come with no IL11. Something tells me this guy is over selling his research.
Hello - i think from presentation maybe saying need some during early development but then need to prevent in older age. Do u think maybe Il11 is downstream marker and need to correct more upstream where real issue is?
I don’t think anyone suggested, eliminating the substance from the body entirely just regulating it as with nearly everything else
This is the early phase of research. Inhibition of iL-11 will be problematic because it can directly affect the somatic cells and blood cells. Also, this is a crucial cytokine and receptor needed for maintaining fertility.
Lutein also reduces visceral fat, so could it be anti-IL11?
And my guess is that whatever reduces visceral fat, will also help prevent thymus from turning into a fat blob with age, and so keep you younger longer.
What about cancer and infection incidence and response? A bit worrying that the human examples of knock out IL11 are not even 30yo.
Amazing discovery! Thank you for sharing it 🥰🎉
Yes, I do notice that abdominal fat is more prominent….
Do Metformin increase IL11? It shows on 11:13, the Metformin has up arrow, what doesnit mean?
It means metformin increases ampk (AMP-activated protein kinase) which promotes autophagy, inhibits mtor to some degree, it basically tells your body your in a fasted state more the being in a fed state. That in itself has been shown to be anti aging and basically part of the combination therapy. I'm not sure if any AMPK activator will do the same thing like berberine because I have no clue what LKB1 is. It just means if you dating metformin, your helping AMPK but the biggest driver here might be ERK as it also drives that pathway.
@BadWolf-bw6ik I know metformin helps to activate AMPK and inhibit mTOR. But do metformin decrease IL11 or it increase it? In the diagram, other drugs have a down arrow, but metformin has an up arrow. So do metformin increase IL11?
@user-ys4rl7xm6t I believe he said, although he jumbles his words awfully here, even the transcript is goofed up saying whole part when he meant combination, then saying decreasing (I think he was thinking of il-11 before running through the list), Hence "so with anti il-11 you get a combination effect activating APK decreasing mtor and inhibiting senescence with a single agent." The list for Anti-IL11 is not showing the effect on IL11 here just that it has the same effect as all these other components and as he said they have a cumulative effect, I imagine they all lower IL11 but the figure is just showing both metformin and anti-IL11 activate AMPK. That is my understanding sorry. I would infer from that if Anti-IL11 lowers IL11 then metformin will also due to activating AMPK.
Enough talk; give me the pill. lol Don't really trust Metformin, though. Maybe some herb can also block IL-11. :)
What does this mean
