What neck do you have on it? Is it stock? If so how can i fix the frets getting caught on the strings? Thank you! Awesome build!
@CharlieBuilt10 күн бұрын
@@DrollMagnum6720 it’s the stock neck that came on the guitar. I don’t know how to fix the strings getting caught, the high E rolls off the bottom on mine sometimes.

Why not fill in the holes on the original bridge and redrill for bass if the half size guitar was originally steel strings it should have enough strength for nylon bass strings then all you have to do is replace the nut and machine heads no overcomplicated replacing the bridge also the original bridge if placed correctly In the first should be good for intonation.

I wish I’d thought of that originally! Hopefully that can help someone else considering this. This instrument is long gone now, but wish I had done it as you suggest. Live and learn.

Not sure exactly what type of strings. They came on the Hadean bass when I bought it years ago, and now their new ukes come with black strings. Likely the ones on my uke are these - Aquila 68U Bass Ukulele Strings Thundergut, GDAE, Tuning Stability [Set of 4] White - but that's a guess.

Hi, How did you place the P90 templates on the pickguard ? It seems to me that you did not center them on the humbuckers holes. Thanks
@CharlieBuilt Жыл бұрын
The P90s fit basically centered over where the humbuckers were. Had to cut a little off of the top and bottom of each hole on the pickguard, but width was the same. I used the covers to trace the cut lines on the pickguard.
