I flew a corporate BAC 1-11 into Kai Tak several times back in the 80’s. It was the most fun and the scariest approach Into and airport I ever made. Now that I’m retired how I miss those days.

Things happen pretty quick in the IFR environment. You did good once again. I must say, you do get around quite a bit. Business or pleasure? Of course it's always a pleasure if you're flying. I've been binge watching your videos today. Sorry, I gotta get to the store sometime today. See ya!

Just came upon your channel. Really enjoyed it. Watched 3 of them. You do some smooth flying there, very good. I especially like the IFR flights. The scenery one's are great also. Any way you can get some shots out the front along with the panel view? Though the wing shot was nice also for a change, since most are out the front view most of the time. Stay safe and happy flying.

Did you land at KSEZ without flaps? Saw your hand come off of the throttle for a second on final, but didn't notice a pitching moment -- assuming you were trimming. High-Quality video. Watched the whole thing. Thanks for including radio communication.

Fantastic flight and video of it. Thanks for taking us along. :-) I fly a Archer III also out of DVT. I haven't been up to the Grand Canyon or Monument Valley yet but it's on my short list to do. Are you visiting here just doing flight training or do you live here now? I liked the other one too of your flight from CHD to Utah

Yes I overflew the field and entered left downwind runway 3. Don't be nervous, have a great flight! And don't forget to turn your camera on ;)

I was at RAF Kai Tak in the 60s It was on the mainland next to the airport. Standing there the planes used to disappear behind the hill then reappear when they made that famous final turn. We used to wonder if they would reappear !!! There was a runway at RAF Kai Tak in earlier years. When I was there what was left of it was an aircraft park for the RAF

I want there a couple moths ago, now it is a golf cource and a giant parking lot for buses and used cars. Theres only a couple hundred feet of runway and taxiway left. The checkerd board: the paint is falling off (i took some of the paint home). :) You know, there was still space at kai tak to expand, just fill in the small bay where the bridge is. Or they could of kept kai tak open as a secondary airport.

Ya, it was the worlds busiest single runway airport. I miss kai tak, it was my favorite airport and the approach was the reason why. I never got a chance to videotape kai tak before closure. We will miss you kai tak!
