    I have thought about buying a tyre fitting machine for a while are these type of ken tool bars like the serpent and super serpent bars a good alternative are they just as easy as machine can you do 4x4 16 inch alloy rims with them and daton rims forward and reverse mount rims thanks in advance

    All you have to do is search tire mounting by hand and it seems everyone does two bars. I always try my own way but if everyone is doing it better I will change.

    I've never used one of those bead walkers. Only thing I see is take smaller sections, and they wouldn't be so hard to pull over.

    I don't see any issue, you are doing fine for an exhausted guy. I use a different bar, the Ken-Tool 35450 Serpent Mount Tool, which is not as curved, and some OTC curved 30" spoons with the same bead holder. I work on small tractor tires, not truck, but my process is exactly the same as your. Thanks for sharing!

    My tire machine does those tires all day with minimum effort. I even do 16 ply 235/80/16’s with my tire machine. So saying it can’t do it is misleading. I do 17.5 tires with it and 19.5 tires as well.
