Not working 😢
How do I know the version of this monitor? Someone is selling me this monitor but I've read there are 2 versions. An older that has a lot of ghosting so it sucks, and a newer that I guess is the one of the video. I don't want to ruin my purchase since I'm building my whole set up myself. 😔😔👍
I bought one today but idk how to change the resolution, I don’t have a pc. Help! Please!
excellent review!👌
Does it have 2.1 hdmi?
Yo it got a question can this run at 1440p with 120 with a ps5????
VERY HELPFUL, onece you get the hang of it it really did help. i was sweating so much from this
Great video, is it worth buying it for a ps5?
With this monitor on the PS5 you will be capped at 1440p resolution at 120Hz so up to you!
i cant turn mine on and idk how to plug it into my xbox or computer
Sorry to hear that :/ Hope you figure it out!
I would like to see you trying to use xbox 1440 at 120hz. Yoy need to change detecting automático to manual HDMI.
Thanks for the feedback!
@@tvchef thanks You for the video
anyone know if this is great with a Xbox series s?
I mean for the price for a casual gamer it is great! Nothing special but you aren't paying a lot for it!
How can I get those tools on my pc? That way I'll be able to check if my motinor is working as it should
You can buy it online!
really - 4 minutes to take it out of the box? what a waste of bandwidth
We have a full review... this was just an unboxing video. Thanks for watching!
This monitor has pretty bad ghosting. Don't buy it
Have you used a new one recently? They seemed to have improved them a lot of the last 1.5 years!
@@tvchef i wunno but i bought mine 1.4 ish years ago and i am still using it to this day, also it is no longer smoother like it used to be. that sucks too.
How to remove it???
Reverse the steps in this video!
@@tvchefI’m trying to remove the plastic blue ring, how?
"A chef is a professional cook and tradesperson who is proficient in all aspects of food preparation, often focusing on a particular cuisine. The word "chef" is derived from the term chef de cuisine (French pronunciation: [ʃɛf də kɥizin]), the director or head of a kitchen."... you might as well peg yourself as president, but you guys already have a bozo for that job. 🙄🙄
*chefs kiss*
How many nits
400 if we are remembering that correctly!
Would you recommend this for the ps5?
Just as a really budget option for casual gameplay!
You’re incorrect on the whole *”Xbox won’t get the 120 FPS.…* misinformation. Notice the *4k TV Details* also show you’re *not* getting 60 FPS either? *ITS NOT 4K MONITOR!* You can be 100% certain your pulling 120, you just need to know how to unlock the manual FPS setting.. The Xbox Series X was developed with the 12 teraflops of GPU power over the PS5’s 10 teraflops because the were marketing the series X as the most powerful console ever made, with the main advertising geared towards “a console so powerful that it can run 120 FPS at 4k resolution.” So the default settings, despite saying “auto,” it’s assuming you’re using a 4K monitor. When you’re not, you get that red 🚫. To fix this, go into *Video & Fidelity Overscan.” Click *Resolution* & change it from auto to *manual.* immediately after, everything will look terrible, that’s normal. Now hit *“B”* & you’ll see your resolution and what we said to 720p, click that, set it to 1080p, and your image will instantly return to its previous state. *BUT,* now you’ll notice directly underneath you have a new option labeled *Refresh Rate.* click that and change it from 60 Hz to 120 Hz and voila. Now if you go back and check your 4K TV detail settings, you’ll see that you have a green checkmark followed by *”Your TV setup supports up to native 1080p at 120 FPS.”* This will also work for 1440p aka 2K for those with a 1440p monitor. In addition, you don’t want to be looking at the top two settings regardless. As that’s your TV resolution specs it won’t change unless you have a 4K UHD monitor/TV. What do you wanna look at it directly below… *Playing Games.* you also want to pop into the *video modes* setting & make sure you enable all of the available options such as allow HDR10, variable refresh rate, auto low latency, etc. You’ll also be surprised, what you can get the Xbox series X to do if you grab a 4k HDMI to DP adapter & make sure it has an attached USB-A cable for power. In regards to high response time, it’s because you were running your test with the standard preset, and from what I saw quickly, you didn’t have freesync enabled… *You also should be in game mode by using preset FPS/RTA for the lowest response time… ACTUALLY, wait a sec!!! What’s the polling rate of that controller you used? Doesn’t look like some high-end game pad nor does it look like a controller that can be easily overclocked. I have my Elite 2, Razor Wolverine tournament v2, Power A MOGA, Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra, my insanely powerful yet budget friendly GameSir G7 SE (the bigger brother G7 has more features like trigger locks & 4 back buttons but has analog triggers & sticks unlike the SE version with Hall Effect), I overclocked each controller (stock controller as well) between 1,000 - 2,000 polling rate. Napoleon rate directly affects the response time of a monitor as it’s the measurement of how fast the signal is sent from when you press a button till when it’s received by the console/computer. So if you’re a controller is only running at 100 Paul rate then it’s not the monitor showing the results of 14 ms - 18 ms not your controller lagging. Use Gamepadla to see your polling rate. Finally, when you’re showing the UFOFPS test to your audience it’s not doing much good as we can’t tell too much of a difference since I highly doubt you recorded this video at 240 FPS. So although you see the buttery smooth UFOs on the 240 and the lag/glitch on the 60, we say generally the same thing between all three rates. Sorry for the long message but I hope this helps you or someone else in their gaming journey! (I just ordered this monitor to use as my third Daisy chained pyramid style set up it should arrive in a minute now! I guess they made a new model or something because the one that I’m receiving has an entirely different back with a lot more RGB going on but same exact monitor size, specs, resolution, cover, etc. I think it’s the 2024 model and they might’ve added some minor improvements.
Which better height 2480T or 2490T?
Per BenQ website the 2480T has taller height!

Watch this video our ours for more help: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nKyusKRwgc63gLA.html We also have windows 11 video on our channel but it is basically the exact same thing
Liked when you compared 27" and 24" monitors together to give a better size differences view. Not many reviewers do this.
We will keep this in mind. It was just nice to have them both together it made it really easy!
Can you install it on a metal stud?
I would be a little nervous depending on how much weight you would put on it! Can you get a block of wood behind it?
I can’t press on the apple air play and HomeKit I don’t do notin when I press on it
I am guessing you don't have a compatible Fire TV!
@@tvchef I ended up just having g to update my tv
What is up with monitors having the most random chatgpt generated names
I know right? Seems like there is an opportunity to make these easier and more memorable!
Bro how is this so cheap??? It’s literally a steal
No idea how they make money lol
No infos about the hdr capabilities? How many dimming zones? How is the hdr glow? What peak brightness do we have? How much is hdr input lag? Most people who are interested in this monitor are because its a mini led hdr1000 monitor for a great price like the aoc.
This was really helpful was having issues steaming a app now it’s working properly now thank you 🫶🏾
im looking for a dest clamp mount for this monitor
Please share if you find one you really like!!!
How do you remove the stand though
With tender love and care lol
It ghosts pretty bad

Hello, how can I unmount 5hqt blue ring? I can't rotate him back to unmount the leg.
You should be able to gently rotate/remove it!

Hey, that's pretty cool
Thanks!
Do you recommend this monitor for for PS5!? I want to do a budget sim racing cockpit and im interested in this monitor
It would be fine for PS5 but don't expect miracles with this monitor for what you are paying!
First tip worked - holding Home button for 10 seconds. Electronics are crazy. But thank you!!
Awesome! Thanks for the tip. We hope it helps someone else!
hello I wanted to know how the rear LEDs turned off please
i have this and it doesn’t let me get 120fps on my ps5 can u help
Maybe try to set it on the monitor or the ps settings
I wanted to see the remote see what kind of charger it takes and just the quality of it
So sorry! We usually cover each item and I don't know why we didn't show the remote up close! USB C is what you would charge the ultra remote with!
Quality is great. They are super comfortable to hold in your hands!
Every monitors should come with this type of stand.
Agreed! BenQ has the best stands!
Nice review!
Thanks!
Seriously Bro - That was a bad ass comprehensive review on a Walmart TV I do wish it was 120hz refresh rate but then my AVR has some issue going over 60
So glad you found it helpful! Yeah 120hz would be great but for this price they defiantly make compromises... mine is still going strong and it is the perfect basement TV that we stream on!
With ghosting not really being visible on camera, is showing the different games (Like Forza5) even worth it?
At that point is it even worth it that we film anything showing the monitor? ha! Without being in person with us video is all we got to showcase it!
I would buy another brand, hated installing this thing, 2 person job
What specifically did you hate? I have installed quite a few tv mounts and all are basically the same!
Nice monitor
Thanks!
Onn Roku TV
