good comparison with AVR. what you think a 70 W @8 ohms AVR vs 2 Fosi V3 Mono for stereo
@innovationalКүн бұрын
I think AVR is designed for surround sound and won't excel at stereo music, unless it's at the high end. Of course speakers also make a difference. The V3 does music very well, even with inexpensive bookshelf speakers.

@@innovational Thank you for your reply. what you think about v3 mono for center speaker as power amp with Yamaha Rxa4a AVR. Thank you...
@winstonc5372Күн бұрын
@@mediaconnect4135For centre channel a v3 mono which is rated up to 240W would be excellent - that Yamaha AVR is only rated to max 135W per channel. Make sure when connecting external amp to centre pre out that you don't have speaker cables to another center channel connected as well.

Thanks for the video. I hope you test it with 5.1 audio source, where it specialized to check if the separation from optical to 6 channel audio is really work as expected. Some 5.1 audio source for example will have someone say "left channel - center channel - right channel - surround right - surround left" then just a buzzing sound, each will sound on each speaker respectively. Another source is an instrument music, such as the piano sound on front left, the singer sound on the center, the trumpet on the front right, the guitar on the rear right, the flute on the rear left and the bass on the sub. With this kind of source, then we can know if the machine separate each channel correctly. Anyway, thanks once again for the video, Sir.

I have the edifiers and a pair of series 1 creative gigawork speakers. Edifiers are actually quite heavy in the bass department, though they do lack a tiny bit of clarity compared to the creative speakers. On the flip side, the creatives lacked the bass of the Edifiers. Mainly use the Edifiers for my gaming rig, set them close enough to where you actually get a kind of "haptic feedback" when gaming, as in you feel the bass. Due to where the base port is on the speakers, you also get a rush of "air" based on the bass, which is quite immersive. For audio production however, none of that is that important.
