If you smell fuel only while running, and you don't see a puddle of fuel on the ground, then it sounds like your tune is too rich. Sounds like a spark issue, not a fuel issue.

Get a high torque mini starter if you haven’t, a known issue is with the factory starter and headers heat, and a heavy tune.

If you hold down the bottom of your start button for 5 seconds it primes the fuel pump and pressurizes the system. It should start after that. If it doesn’t change your fuel pump relay

08 Z06, ls7, 44k miles, paid 30,000. With some cosmetic issues, in 2 months of ownership I have had to rebuild the steering shaft, new intake, retune, and unfortunately new clutch. Been in the shop for 4 weeks. Good luck finding one for $20k, I hope the best for you on your journey buying one.

Be patient in your search, you can find a could car for a decent price if you are patient. Love the Z because of the looks but my LS2 was an amazing car and it was just as much fun. Good luck with the search! keep saving, nothing pays off more than saving and working hard.

Get a Z. I’ve had 5 of them and 1 base model. Base feels like poopy and soft while Z06 feels solid and planted. Save up and get one

Hopefully you won't find out that the coating on some of the Ti rods wore off. In short, this gradually destroys everything inside the engine. Get an oil analysis done.
