  I heard the history made up about this structure is totally false , and that it was not built to keep the mongols or any armies out or away.... but it was actually a part of the silk road trade route like a modern day highway for trade protecting the merchandise and traders on the path , any truth to that ?

  Hi there from germany. I was there for 1 month…in holiday inn. Walked down every day to wudaokou station. The only European :) ..what a strange feeling that was.

  Unfortunately, the British and French burned the original Summer Palace and looted most of the treasures. Then Cixi rebuilt it but, it was burned again. This restoration was built by the Chinese government, I think in the 1950’s.

  I do appreciate the video but I don't understand why you walked past so many structures without explaining what they were and only focused on the cats. I can see a cat anytime, but videos like this of the Summer Palace are rare. That said, thank you, the images are amazing.

  Очень интересно. Я так понял, это мини городок или район европейского стиля, английскими домами. Я на паузе прочитал не совсем понятную историю про улиц но коротко. Это типа дома резиденции , кто в них жил , становились каким то деятелями, и политиками. 5:43. 11:53. А в 55:26 карта Ву да дао( а написано навигационная карта в зоне культурного туризма удадол) в городе Тяньцзиня, если я правильно понял. Но читать вертикально не привычно в переводе😊. Благодарю.
