When I watched the beginning of the video, I decided it would be a good idea to recommend BLAME! in the comments and then it turned out that the video had a segment about this manga. I'm not sure it was worth spoiling some interesting moments of the manga in the video :DD BLAME! is a very strange experience. In some sense, perhaps even sad. But interestingly, quite inspiring. At least I was very inspired by this manga. I'm glad more people are learning about this manga. I highly recommend reading it. If you read BLAME! I advise you to read various additions to this manga. For example, the prequel "NOISE" which can shed light on what is happening. But read "NOISE" only after the main manga. Do not watch anime from Netflix (unless you have read the manga and its additions and are interested in what the anime based on this manga looks like). They for some reason decided that it would be a great idea to start their anime in the middle of the story and finish it before the manga story ends. Great video!

okay I checked out that dog sled game! and I am angry! You keep going while a dude rambles about something that must be done and there is some mystery BUT NO. You just keep wandering and eventually the dude talking to you leaves you and you take mushrooms and shoot the dude. NOTHING happens. where is the mystery? just a bunch of hollow dialogue.

the fakes could ironically also act as recreations of the original image. People could use these "fakes" as a reference point.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines always gave me this vibe too. Even though there's NPCs everywhere, somehow they nailed this feeling of loneliness and the impression of a world that knows it's ending. Pre-apocalyptic, if you will.

calling Rendition: Guantanamo propaganda is one of the biggest projections I've ever seen. those critics WANTED it to be propaganda, but only propaganda for their side. i'm not sure why this keeps needing to be said, but Guantanamo Bay was Bad and we should be allowed to condemn it & the ideology that built it.

worlds of melancholy & creatures of the fog reminds me of a dream i had it was a foggy area around a road that i was driving down for some reason everything was in a palette of blue (like cotf) & a field of short crops was lightly swaying in the wind, making the area smell like corn & grass it was night but everything was visible enough to understand where i was suddenly, the car was gone & i was walking along a sidewalk in the same environment i arrived at the this parking lot that seemed to continue for forever there were 4 streetlights near me, leaving the rest of the parking lot to fade into the foggy darkness on the sides of the lot, there was a small gym & a candy store i entered the gym to find it inhabited by blank mannequins illuminated by neon blue lights the gym was cool & the air was thick with a scent of cologne the back wall was a floor to ceiling mirror which only blurred me in the reflection (everything else beside me was crystal clear) when i left, the lights flickered & the mannequins were gone i made my way over to the dimly lit candy store next to the gym by a corner there was a mannequin in place of a cashier & all the electronics to preserve the food lit up when i walked in, as well as illuminating display cases of rare candies & peppy elevator music i grabbed some candy & soda and left, leaving the store to continue its peppy music & bright LED lights it went oddly silent when i closed the door behind me - though i could still see the lights, the music was muffled near to silence & the lights looked dimmed behind a tinted window i sat down & started eating my candy & drinking my soda the flavor was explosive yet comforting freezing yet refreshing as if the fog itself had infused itself into my snacks it was nice the air was cool, the snacks were delicious & comforting, the buildings & street lights lit the area just enough to see around me it was a blissful time where i could feel no pain, taste no sourness or sugar, feel no shivers or whipping cold just a beautifully blissful moment of freedom & comfort which was interrupted by waking up to my dog standing on my chest. m what a dream.

Depending on which one you used, the doc you used might have been the master doc I originally made a few years ago and let the fan-ran liminal land discord server manage since at the time I was still in community college and needed to focus on college to make sure I would pass.

OKAY let’s clear the air: crazy frog was never cool, was the thing your uncool aunt got you and was the equivalent of U2 forcing itself onto your iPod and even after deleting it would sneak back in the next time your device dared to refresh like a criminal offender ex. I was 18 and besides being way too cool for Korn, Linkin Park or Britney Spears and preferring obscure game OSTs like DDR Korean mix 2. You have all been deceived, none of us wanted anything to do with some weird band that had both raps, the frontman for Blur and was only released in cartoons. Gorillaz was strictly stoner material until halfway through the second album. Minecraft was what your weird little cousin was into when…well he never stopped playing and somehow you’ve all grown up and are nostalgic for things…god as kids…I told some people I work with that Brad Pitt was hot THEN and is STILL HOT??? “Ew he’s OLD.” So casual. My whole existence just boiled down to and invalidated so hard that I can’t even get people to unironically remember… I’m old now

Great video but I think this might be the worst analog horror I’ve ever seen, it just feels like the creator had a ton of surface level ideas and decided to do all of them instead of creating something cohesive, like a lot of this could be cool in isolation but all put together it feels unfocused and nonsensical, like the Giza glass stuff, at first it’s a rare material that can cut people into pieces while keeping them alive and connected which is potentially a pretty cool idea, then it’s being used to make swords for people to behead people with in the Grand Canyon which makes no sense, why do they need to be beheaded, why not just shoot them if protecting the areas is so important, then the heads which are left for some reason become big and magical and the gov that created the magic swords for the purpose of beheading people are surprised that there’s so many living heads? What were they expecting to happen? If the people with the swords were meant to be beheading regular people why would you give them magic swords that don’t actually kill them when a regular sword (or even better, just give them a gun) works perfectly fine? Then to destroy the head it’s once again Giza glass being used as a laser, which leaves the people using it alive even after separating them into individual atoms, but somehow it did kill the giant heads?? This feels like it’s being made up as the creator goes along in the worst way possible, only thinking about how cool an idea is in isolation which makes the story as a whole completely nonsensical because of the stupid decisions the characters have to make in order to actually make everything connect up… going back to the heads, the whole point of using the laser to destroy the airships is so people don’t realise the heads are being used for them so america isn’t revealed as being responsible right? But how do giant floating heads get moved from america to Germany and used to create these airships without anyone knowing? If the gov has the ability to move the statue of freedom into the Grand Canyon, why didn’t they move it somewhere secure where people couldn’t accidentally find it, saving them needing to create the problem of giant floating heads in the first place? Why does the statue never try and leave the Grand Canyon when everything we are told about it suggests it could easily do so? Why did they decide to make Giza glass swords when a regular gun would be far far more effective at the job they want doing? The creator treats Giza glass the same way a lot of bad fantasy treats made up materials, by treating it as a magical macguffin that can do anything the story needs it to, it’s seemingly nigh indestructible (otherwise why not just destroy or partly destroy the freedom statue instead of letting it roam free as if there’s no way of controlling it, it’s been sat doing nothing on a roof for however many years so why wouldn’t it just go back to sleep? Why was it just asleep in the first place?), it can cut anything it needs to even indestructible trees, it can cut things without killing them, it can be used as a laser that can destroy airships and kill the giant magical heads inside, but also it’s a laser that can’t kill people, but a sword made out of it wielded by a statue made out of it can kill the same people the laser couldn’t, even though the laser was powerful enough to kill the head even though swords weren’t??
