What about Faema Faemina? Will this be supported in the future?
Hoping that in the future this will work with LM Home products that have brew by weight capability. The Linea Mini has this feature and it can have timed recipes like other commercial la marzocco machines. One can wish!
Where can we find the Mahlkoenig sharepoint to download the firmware?
Seems like no lubes are required on the shaft and etc like EK43 does, is that right?
I cannot put the burrcarrier back on the rod of the grinder. Feels like the tolerances were too tight. And yes I am aligning the 2 pins with the grooves correctly. I have cleaned the grinder meticulously on the rod and re lubricated with foodgrade lubricant. It quite simply feels impossible to the it back on! It was also really a struggle to get it out initially. Any solutions? Thanks in advance!
Cannot wait to receive our grinder!Abstract Coffee, Nova Scotia, Canada

Omnia isn’t suitable for espresso right?
what the features on new update ?
I've sold my right arm, leg and kidney. Is it enough?
Is this good for espresso? People say that it's only good for filter coffee. I don't care about filter coffee at all. I always prioritize espresso.
Trotz mehrfacher Kalibrierung erhalte ich immer noch keine guten Ergebnisse. Was soll ich tun?
I just got my Omnia and find that i need to set the grind size to18 microns in classic mode to get a good espresso shot using medium roasted coffee.
Wow, great job improving a classic!
The king of grinder
I would like the breakout of materials shirt (bom) that you are wearing, available merch?
www.mahlkoenig.com/collections/merchandise/products/mahlkonig-ek43-exploded-view-t-shirt-unisex
Exactly what I needed to see, thank you. May I ask though, what is actually making the sound when the lever was set in that position ? Is it the actual burrs making contact with one another or something else.? Cheera
Burrs on my Omnia don’t slide off.. any tips?
I have the same problem. Have you found out?
Me too
@@sdmspy I pulled harder than you would when loading an English, medieval longbow. I almost fell when they got off. And then I cleaned the rod, chamber and everything, relubricated the rod and burr-carrier, and now I cannot put it back on the rod again. Seems like the tolerances are way too tight??? :( Any thoughts?
Burr production makes me cry tears of Joy 😭😭😭. All hail our leader "The Burrman" (ie Lance Hendrick) 🫡🫡🫡
Rather than sell merchandise maybe concentrate on improving your spare parts customer service and infrastructure. You know. Look after and support your existing customers.
So I can’t calibrate the load cell without buying the optional weight?
What's the cost of this please?
Just got one in my store but it's Very messy. Not like the one in the video And for espresso, it's very high retention
The dosing cup where can I get one from in the uk as our EK didn’t include this
I am waiting for my omnia for home use. Should I need some adjustments before the first use ?or I am good to go?
Would you tell us here in coments what is a range for V60. Let's say, some normal coffee, 15g/250g 2:30 drawdown.
about 400um on the omnia
Will the silver knob pull off? We need to spray electronics cleaner into the knob shaft. Because the display is very jumpy, the contacts must be oxidized and just need the spray to bring it back to normal operation. Thank you
Hi, Q: Is the selector knob pull off/removable? Ours needs some electronics spray cleaner sprayed into the knob shaft.. Because the knob response has gotten bad/jumpy/unreliable. Due to common age/oxidation of internal contacts... But unplugging and spraying with the knob installed, blocks the spray from getting where it needs to. Ours is Not the GBW, just E65S entry model. Thanks
I have the rubber flapper with steel thing. How kt shoukd be insert. Rubber flapper first and steel thing behind it? Thanks 3:31
the metal thing should be closer to the burrs, the silicon flapper should be facing outwards, to the exit of the grinder. The metal is supporting the flapper (therefore behind the flapper) to break the clumps. Hope that helps
@@Vagkoul thank you 🙏
Do you have torque specs for the screws?
Just make sure they are sufficiently tightened
I have been using my grinder for 10 months. On a busy day, we go through about 15lbs through the grinder. We wipe and clean the flapper every day after service, and regularly service the grinder. The grinds have been increasingly spraying out. I thought it was only because of the flapper needing to be cleaned but not sure. Is it possible it's time to replace it?
Yes worth replacing. They tend to loose structure over time
I’m about to order the Omnia for home use. To replace my to Mazzer grinders (one for filter one for espresso). With just one grinder switching in library mode for espresso & filter settings. Did someone have this experience? I read in some comments that the omnia is not ideal for espresso !! I would love some feedback about this. Thank you
When properly zero calibrated the Omnia can grind espresso yes.
Fantastic job! Thank you. What is the purpose of removing the front control tabs? Also a bit of narration would make this great instructional video even better.
Such a joy seeing this icon in most quality coffee shops
I’m usually a drip guy with pretty coarse grinds (ie Kasuya method). Muy X54 grinds too thin for my taste even at 35. Can I use this calibration method the opposite way? Put it further away from true zero instead.
Yes, you can make the range coarser but your fine point will also be coarser
Wonder if there will be a mini version of this 🤔
Say Köööönig.
I have the 1Kg weight, but not the E65S GBW. So close!
After every cleaning maintenance you must calibrate ?
No, no need to calibrate after each cleaning
How do I do this update without a PC? Can it be done on a Mac
I need a S version!
Looking forward to buying the E65S GBW for the kitchen. After doing countless hours of research on grinders and talking with coffee house owners, this is the one I’ll go with.
hi
When will the library function available 😂
How do I change it so that the grind is finer for espresso because the grind size 5-0 is still too coarse for me to make espresso?
We will make a video on how to calibrate the Omnia soon. The zero point is adjusted by the 3 silver slotted screws under the faceplate cover.
@@MahlkoenigGrinders ok im waiting...
So apparently everyone is having the same exact issue here. Apparently "contact your local Mahlkönig technician" is the advice. So we can conclude they either a) purposely engineered it to be this tight or b) the factory is torquing it down to much and we now get to deal with it. Either way I hope Mahlkönig takes a look at this obvious issue and adjusts.
We will make a video on how to calibrate the Omnia soon. The zero point is adjusted by the 3 silver slotted screws under the faceplate cover. Once these screws are loosened you can re-adjust the zero point of the dial. We will have a tutorial up soon.
May i know why not blind burr?
We have made many screwless burrs over the years, the last model was the Tanzania. The screw holes make no difference in grind quality.
Still no update with Apple products. This is very disappointing!
Thank you for the feedback. We will send to the design team
Hiii , i purchased one but about the library mode , I saved the recipes but it kept grinding beans endlessly yet i saved a certain gram limit
